I am indonesian but I am living in Dubai for edges . Always love to spend my holiday in Bali . Since I am alone and will meet my friends who residence here, most they suggested me to stay at petitenget area which is closed to new hip Bali , seminyak and Canggu ! I close fave umalas because great location and also I been staying at fave before , I am happy so far as my previous experiences. Fave Umalas just perfect setting hotel to me to complete my holiday here! Room is always clean , good smell , service is quick and friendly ! Love to stay here again next trip to Bali !

I stayed 5 nights with my children. We were initially impressed with the location, grounds, gardens and refreshing pools. The staff were friendly though their English was limited. I found google translate helped. The restaurant was often all out of food in the mornings at breakfast as they were encouraging busloads of extremely rude and greedy Chinese to stay at the hotel. These people would take all the food from the buffet and pile it up on their tables. Ordering food from the menu was disappointing as they often didn’t have the food available. The rooms were clean. However aged and falling apart, broken bathroom tap, and toilet seat. The linen(sheets and towels) smelt bad and were a dirty grey colour. With all its faults we still enjoyed our stay and had some memorable experiences!

Was under estimate the beginning....but this place give an outstanding experience especially for the kids. Very good service....nice pool and restaurant service. Just need to up grade the cocktail and beverage selection as it is look like booring choices. But overall was great

The hotel is very safe, and nicely equipped, The rooms are a bit small but its enough. the bathrooms can be more cleaner but its okay. The hotel breakfast is average comparing to Bali hotels, they can work and make more food varieties. The pool is nice just by the breakfast restaurant. The staff are very friendly and if you have the time its really nice to use their SPA. Very relaxing and affordable. its easy to get a taxi whenever you want to go out, but its around 20/30 mins drive away from the city and the beaches, it might take you longer depending on the traffic.

Stayed there for 3 nights , hotel and rooms spotless and cosy, felt very welcomed, all employees were helpful and kind.10 min walking distance to the beach and close to all restaurants and bars. Recommended

Having spent 2 nights and then another 4 nights at this hotel in August and September this year I have only praise for the management and staff at this hotel. I found that nothing was too much trouble for them and was always attended to without any fuss or argument. The hotel is a budget priced place and as such the room was quite small, we had a twin room and found that between the beds the space was approximately 15 inches and that the corners of the bed frames (wooden) were squared off and being so close you were prone to damaging your legs if not extremely careful. I found the breakfasts to be adequate but geared more to the Asian market and not a great deal for westerners except eggs and or toast, however the staff went out of their way to please. All in all I will definitely stay here again and hope that they can put singles into their Superior rooms so that you have room to move. My congratulations to Eka and all his staff. Satisfied with value but when I use their hotel phone to call oversea, there was very expensive..Good food and service ..The gym room was very small..The hotel nearby minimart and a restaurant beside it,easier for us look for food or drink beer..

Rooms are very clean but are very small. Bathroom is also very small. Aircon good, Wi-Fi good, breakfast good, pool also very good. Location is on a road where there is too much traffic. Value for money

Good hotel with a friendly atmosphere and fantastic staff here in Petitenget. The hotel is affordable, clean, nice outside pool in a garden and has wifi. The management and staff is very friendly. The buffet breakfast is great. The hotel is situated not far from Seminyak and batu belig and it's appropriately 30 min from Kuta, outside the hotel you can find many shops, restaurants/bars etc.

I have been Staying at the favehotel chain in Indonesia for 6 years, and favehotel Umalas is my favourite by far, and my 3rd visit! Good rooms, AMAZING Staff, great atmosphere and all without breaking the bank!
