My family (6 adults and 4 children) stayed at Dampati villas for 10 nights and without doubt this has been the best family holiday we've ever had. The villas are in a great location; quiet street and a short stroll to the beach and to the main street of Sanur. We were spread across 2 villas for the first night which were at either ends of the complex, however at our request staff were very accommodating in moving one group so that we could be next door to each other. We failed to inform staff upon booking that we needed 2 cots, once again the staff were able to source a cot for us with little hassle. Most days, Dika our manager would ask us how we were going and to to let him know if anything was needed. We had an issue with the hot water that was promptly fixed. We had a late flight out of Bali so the staff allowed our whole party to use one villa for the day at a small sum- so handy seeing as we had kids. The villas are cleaned daily to a high standard, there is a good range on offer for breakfast of which all are nice, and the pools are clean and the perfect size for a dip. Our only concern at first was the safety of the kids around the pool area as there is no fence. No problems though, we just had to be vigilant when kids were playing. In short, for the price Dampati villas is highly recommended! We definitely plan to come back!

Just finishing up our ten day Family Bali Holiday. The location of the Dampati Villas excellent for the beach, dining at the beach or just shopping at the beach. Shopping in town is not too far, a five minute walk will get you to the start of the Main Street. If you wanted to go to the far end of Sanur, Dampati Villa will drive you there. The staff at Dampati Villa are fantastic, cannot do enough for you. If there is a problem, which we did a one, our hot water failed. No worries, by the time we got back in the afternoon, we had a new hot water system. I have to say, there are some maintenance issues that could be addressed, but that won't stop you from having a great stay there. We had a three bedroom villa and a two bedroom villa. We had six adults, two 3 1/2 yo, one 18 mth and a 9 mth. Our two villas we next to each other so it was easy for us to get from one to the other. Definitely recommend Dampati Villas for a great family holiday.

This place was perfect. Between 3 couples (2 with kids) we took 2 villas. It was great to have the kids playing in the pool all day (each villa had their own pool) between naps and outings and good to get some rest and privacy for the adults. The location is close enough to the beach (1min walk) to play and eat and close enough to the Main Street (1min the other way) for more food and shopping. But beautifully quiet. The staff were amazing bringing breakfast in at a time we specified each day, chattingenterrtaining the kids/babies when ever we walked by, giving us lifts to supermarkets and more. I would definitely stay here again, it was the perfect choice for us.

We stayed for 3 nights over a weekend and found this to be a very comfortable villa. The staff were friendly, notwithstanding an initial mixup over an airport transfer. The place is very well located to the beach and main street of Sanur. The villa pool was very clean and warmed by the sun each day. There was ample space in the living/dining/ kitchen areas of the villa, which fronted a nice garden and pool. The rooms were comfortable. Some reviews refer to the place being a bit older, but it is clean and comfortable and in very tranquil surrounds. There were many birds in the lovely tree lined surrounds. The morning breakfast was good and delivered to our room each morning. This place is recommended for a comfortable stay in Sanur.

We've just returned from a fabulous week at these villas, can't thank Dika and the staff enough, they are all so friendly and helpful. Dika made sure that we had everything to make our holiday one to remember. The villas do need a spruce up, they're a little tired but the amazing staff do their best to keep the grounds and villas spotless. Breakfast was great plenty of choice and an ever changing street view at the restaurant to entertain. We will definitely be back, great spot close to the beach and they will shuttle you anywhere in Sanur, the free airport pickup and drop off was a lovely bonus too.

Words cannot describe the hospitality we received from the staff at Dampati Villas during our 10 stay. To all the staff, thank you so much for making stay one to remember. The furnishings may be worn, and the Villas do need a little bit of TLC, but this venue provides a true Balinese atmosphere with the kind souls and tranquil surrounds. The Villas are very private and layout provides a beautiful open flow feel. Breakfast in the Villas was always served on time and had great variety. Very short walk to the beach and main strip allowed us to walk to near by restaurants and markets. They provide transport to places within Sanur and can recommend where to go if you want a supermarket/pharmacy/good dining. I cannot rave more highly of this place, thank you to Dika and Dodik for their impeccable service in assuring our stay was amazing and to all the friends I've made. If the owner/s can look into making some small upgrades I think this villa could rate best in Sanur!

Wow, this was the worst place we have eaten in Sanur. The pizza bottom was actually a wrap bottom and really not suitable for making a pizza... What was the cook thinking??? I had Balinese pork ribs. I really had to use a magnifying glass to find them. When I finally found some pork ribs, there were only ribs and almost no meat. The meat was tough and had a little teast. We certainly do no come back.

We are about to check out after a lovely week staying in a 2 bedroom villa. Having read lots of comments about the villas being in need of a spruce up, we were anticipating some issues. I agree that management should do a bit of work and spend some money on replacing worn furnishings, however it had not bothered us, and I have not found it to be as bad as some comments led me to believe. The grounds and staff are amazing. The location is perfect, so close to the beach and plenty of bars and restaurants. We found breakfast served in the villa to be cold so we requested to eat it in the hotel restaurant instead and it was always served hot and was very good. We are very sad to be leaving this beautiful place.

Dampati Villas, interiors are spacious, comfortable, with one bedroom downstairs and 2 upstairs, ( can be confusing when looking on the net, all 9 villas are 3 bedroom, when looking, girlfriend and I obviously only required a 2 bed villa), which you will get, but with 1 other bedroom. Breakfast adequate, choices of vegetarian, American, eggs benedict, pancakes, fruit. Gardens well maintained and having your own pool is a must! Staff generous with their time. Being open planned breezes, flow through nicely.

The villas are quite run down, you can tell that they haven't spent on them since the opening. Our bathroom smelled really bad so the light and the fan always had to be on. One night the fuse box went out because of the rain a short circuit occurred. The staff tried to switch the electricity back on but couldn't so we needed to move to another villa at 1 am - there the toilet was clogged and smelled. Then the next day we smelled smoke only to realise that my charger was on fire! That killed two of our chargers and our air purifier. The next day my sister's charger started smoking too in a different room.
