Such a amazing Holiday, they gave us stayed in 2 bedroom which is awsome, we love it so much will definitely comeback and highly recommended. Special mention of the staff Ega and Gede they're so helpful, can't think of anything. Just for suggestion it will be great if they provide telephone in the room. Thank you Berawa Beach Residence!!!! We're having so much fun!
I found our room to be very good ,clean and comfortable. The staff where great nothing was to much trouble for them, the (café ) warung food was very acceptable .they organised the hiring of a motorbike ,a Driver to take us on a tour . Close enough to beaches , Finns bar not far a great spot to enjoy.I would definitely stay there again. Many thanks to the wonderful staff.Craig
We toured around a few hotels and hostels in canggu before stumbling upon this gem. Berawa checks all of the boxes for us! Great service, perfect little pool, the best AirCon we've experienced in Bali, amazing location, fair price. You will need a scooter to get around but that's just canggu for you. Minutes from the beach, canggu club, restaurants and beach bars. We even tried the food at the restaurant which was also well prepared and very reasonably priced. Best of all, they allowed us to check out at 9pm since we had a red eye flight to Vietnam. Oh, and it's on a quite street so you don't have to worry about noise while you're trying to sleep.
Budget accommodation that needs some attention. We arrived and the room was dirty. " oh sorry that is morning staff problem". They immediately offered us another room that was much bigger with seperate lounge . Good start. We walked toward it and there is dog droppings on the ground ( plenty more of that over the evening and next morning) " oh sorry two dogs here". . Was given wifi code, didn't work. Staff tried to connect it. Couldn't . " oh sorry I check " ( they finally checked the next morning when I asked again! when I was at breakfast Tried to turn TV on wouldn't work. Staff said " oh battery needs replaced sorry" and he took the control to sort it. Looked for towels so we could swim. None in the room. " oh sorry morning staff not do". Finally got towels Went for a swim and slippery surface on the edge and then BIG drops to the pool. ,. Dangerous. Then we Went out to dinner came back and picked up the remote. Settled in and wrong remote. So no TV. In the morning went for breakfast. Ordered two mixed juices (delicious) and one omelette and order of two poached eggs. My omelette arrived and 15 mins later we asked about the poached eggs for my husband " oh sorry". Eggs finally came and I ordered two cappacinos. They brought us two cups of tea. " oh sorry I forget" We decided we could not be bothered staying for the extra night we had already paid for and we left. If I was 18 I might not have cared so much but I am not.
not terrible, but there are better options in town, and for what you get, the price should be lower. consider other options before committing! good: you have alot of space. ac. not so great: i knew what i was in for when my welcome drink was a watered down Tang. even at the smaller homestays and guest houses, i always get a freshly made juice made of real fruit. like a tinder date, the room looks better in pics. the room smelled like an old cheap hotel/ashtray, reminiscent the old part of Las Vegas. i thought maybe i got a smoking room, but there's clearly a no smoking sign next to the door. communicating with the staff is a bit weird as they seem almost clueless half the time. i asked to rent a motorbike, and the guy thought i wanted to book a room, he then also handed me a food menu. this place is far from everything. it's about a mile (2k) from the beach, and while that's an easy walk for me as a new yorker, it definitely a little uncomfortable in the sun and heat. you will need a motorbike or you'll be stuck in the hotel. luckily i have my motorcycle license and traffic in town is at a beach cruising pace. pool looks a little questionable. at breakfast this morning, i was informed that i would be charged for my breakfast order. i tried to cancel as i would have gone into town to get a much nicer breakfast. they wouldn't cancel. i was forced to take and pay for the breakfast. still waiting for my breakfast while watching another guest that came after me get served. he's happily eating his eggs and drinking his coffee. my ultimate gripe and lesson learned: booking is non refundable and you have to pay at the time of booking. my plans in bali changed alot. this was the one and only place i was bound to. in the future i will never book a place in asia that will not offer a refund for reasonable cancellations. there are many other options in town that would have suited my needs better. i almost considered just leaving and getting a better place, but I'm just sucking it up for the next day and a half. i will leave bali smelling like an ashtray, without the usual lovely balinese hospitality that I'm used to.
The hotel was beautiful we were so impressed when we turned up. The villas are like being on honeymoon - a perfect get away. I would love to write a very positive review but sadly we were let down by the staff on our trip and because of this we would not return. Our trip to Bali was short and had one day available for the Gilli Islands. We had booked two days in advance as suggested by the staff and told everything was confirmed. We checked a few times as wanted to make sure everything was okay, we were assured it was. On the day we turned up to reception at 05:00am as requested to find no car was there, we waited 45 minutes with no information. After asking the man on reception, he had no idea whether the car had been booked and had no record of the trip at all. When we asked what to do we were told we couldn't book another car, as one was already on the way - even though he had just told us that there was no record of the booking. We went back and forth, with phone calls from the staff member who had apparently booked us in who had the nerve to tell us there would be a cancellation fee if we left the lobby. For a car that never turned up!! After waiting 2 hours we gave up, as by then had missed the ferry. In the end it turns out the car had gone to the wrong hotel, so it wasn't technically the staffs fault but the way it was dealt with was not acceptable as we were giving no information and not even allowed to book our own taxi. To make it worse we asked again and again to speak to a supervisor or manager to discuss the incident. We were told he would be called and sent for, but this never happened. such a shame as the hotel was beautiful!
The rooms were okay, however it was clear that they haven't fixed it up at all since it was made. Paint was missing on the walls, the couch wasn't comfortable and there was an issue with them not accepting my credit card even though they said they would on their page. The location was nice which is why I rated it "average", as it was only a 5 minute motorbike ride to Finn's Beach Club where I was able to surf. The bed was nice and comfortable. I'm glad we only stayed for 2 nights.
It was a wonderful time to spend holiday in Berawa Beach Residences, the price was so competitive and reasonable price..Their staff are really friendly and helpful if there's any request they're quick action to handle it. The pool really well treated..you should try to stay here....
Rooms were ok, over all it was perfectly acceptable apart from the fact that there's no restaurant there, I mean there is (they serve breakfast in it but that's it) you can't order any food, they don't even have water. The staff there is a bunch of guys and one girl, the guys are super nice and helpful, the girl was quite horrible to me and my friend and quite aggressive(which is very unusual for Balinese person)unfortunately she seemed to be in charge of the place. No need to roll your eyes every time I ask for sugar or milk..that is all.
Not bad, not good. Stayed for one night only. I didnt like the location cause its a bit far from everything. Room was clean and comfortable. Ac was noisy. Pool was dirty. Staff was friendly and breakfast ok for me. A bit over priced for my taste.
