There are many reviews about this hotels location and view, etc and it is all true. But I had a unique experience where I accidently booked the wrong week for the hotel through a travel website and only found out when I arrived in the lobby. Most travel website have a no refund policy and give you a runaround. I explained by situation to Bennie, who listened intently and understood my position. He took action and contacted the travel website on my behalf - suffice it to say that I had a refund in my account the next day. I could have never done this on my own and was impressed with Bennie's attentiveness and action. This is all above and beyond all the other things said about this gorgeous hotel! I will come back without a doubt. Thank you! Gabe

Stayed here with my entire family (there were 12 of us). The place is just beautiful and the views are breath-taking! And i just love the staff, excellent customer service! The cons: it's quite far from the action so you'll have to rent a ride if you wanna get somewhere. And just to get to the main road is like a 20min walk. The food's great too albeit expensive. But this place is definitely worth checking out! I would definitely stay here again. :)

What an amazing view. The rooms are spacious and we were upgraded to the ocean view room which was perfect. The hotel has plenty of complimentary activities for guests. I did the yoga and pottery class and my husband and I took the free bus to the sunset Kedak dance. The pool staff were lovely, always there ready to give you a cold bottle of water and towel when you arrive if needed. They also gave us some complimentary mocktails. There is a great little cafe across the road from the driveway entrance as the hotel restaurants weren’t really ready to cater for a vegan diet.

Anantara Uluwatu exceeded our expectations! From arrival the staff were very attentive to our needs, always smiling, polite and pleasant manners were used in all interactions. When we arrived into our oceanview room, we were amazed by the size of the room and the extra features everywhere! (Level 5 ocean view room) The lovely staff member showed us every little detail of the room, so we knew how to use the features efficiently and politely requested to call her if we required further assistance. We absolutely loved the in room expresso machine, this was a real treat! And my partner and I loved the Bose surround system in the room, we both love music and with the incredible view of Impossibles Beach, we were in paradise! Being both surfers, having the lift access to the beach was perfect and saved a lot of sweaty climbing the steep cliff with the usual staircase you use when staying elsewhere around the area, this was 5* star service, loved it :) The food served in the restaurants was high quality, fresh, gourmet and plenty of dietary requirements options, as we're both health conscious people, this is a priority for when we travel. We actually over did it with the food, over eating as there were too many delicious choices to choose from, we thought, "When in Rome!" I'd like to make a special mention to Rina from the 360 restaurant, she looked after us with exceptional service during breakfast and dinner on several occasions, she was very personable, friendly and welcoming. All of the food and beverage staff were certainly lovely and deserve praise for their service. The spa was an amazing experience also, Dewi was lovely and very professional. Cris even rated the experience as the best massage he's received in Bali and he's a qualified massage therapist so this is saying a lot! Ask for Dewi for any massage treatments. The room was spacious, offered a bathroom and all the essentials you require for a 5* star spa experience. Would like to make a special mention to Popy, arranging this wonderful experience at Anantara, we will be back! Thank you.

We had booked an ocean view suite with private pool and paid a premium. The hotel itself is really nice, but here are a few of the disappointments 1) Training seems lacking. Lots of smiles, but unable to deliver on promises. 2) Wine list decent, but many wines are out of stock. 50% of the red wines by the glass were unavailable. Wine is really expensive in Indonesia, but should be available. 3) Clueless on how to send out an express package. Started the process at 11 AM and found out at 7 PM that it was never picked up. 4) Private pool was not even close to private. We looked at a private pool ocean front and it was less private and overlooked the public pool. 5) Placing and order, getting the bill, etc. was impossible during off-peak times.

I had the suite with private pool ocean front. Everything was like heaven! The room was excellent they have a coffee machine the bath room was amazing bed everything was 5 stars. The pool was awesome with excellent view and Jacuzzi with the same view. Barbeque at the pool restaurant was amazing and the waiters there are vey helpful they made out table rounded by candles and the food were delicious. Im pretty sure that breakfast is the best breakfast I could ever have. Thank you all... you are my favorite Bali spot 💛

My partner and i wrapped up our amazing Bali vacation with a 3 night stay at Anantara and it was the icing on the cake. We stayed in the 'Ocean View Suite' and the ocean view did not disappoint! The room was really spacious with a comfortable bed, it was very clean and had all the amenities. The turn down service was spot on and i can't fault anything about the room. We especially loved the spa bath on the balcony! Service was great and my partner (surfer) loved the elevator down to the beach. Personally, i loved sipping cold Bintang's by the pool watching him surf. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for people with young children.

Have just enjoyed a wonderful stay at Anantara Uluwatu, the room was very large, very clean, and the facilities excellent. Had a Garden suite with a private pool and spa, enjoyed both. The staff couldn't do enough to please, they were wonderful. The breakfasts were excellent served in the 360 restaurant with the most amazing views of the coastline. Would recommend this resort.

Great luxury hotel with a,among views out to the ocean for sunsets. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Only downside was the bathroom was a little tired but this was only relative to the rest of the hotel. Would recommend.

My partner and I stayed at Anantara in Uluwatu for 4 nights - and we were amazed. The resort blew our expectations. The staff displayed by far the best service we had experience during our time in Bali. They were always willing to help, friendly, assisting us with places to go and how to get there, as well as running classes at the resort's gardens which we loved doing (ceramics and painting). We could not leave the pool side as it was so amazing (views and service). The sunset over the pool and sunset view from our room was just beautiful. We also loved our balcony jacuzzi. The buffet breakfasts at the amazing 360 restaurant on site was also fantastic. Overall, Anantara helped complete our trip to Bali and we will be recommending this resort to all our friends and family. We will definitely be back.
