I stayed in this hotel in April 2017 and far from the airport 35 min. - Location is little far from the city centre but not as negative because the place is in quite area. - the staff are very kind and polite and helpful. - the receptionist Sevinc was very helpful with all the info and services and the bellboy Fakhri was amazing with him tips to help and provide the comfortable stay. - the rooms are very nice with the amazing view in the balcony towards the Caspian Sea. - Beds are comfortable. - lights in the rooms are not sufficient and the windows are not sound proof as my stay was in the end of winter time and it was bit noisy. - breakfast was not bad but there was no much variety choices.
Dated rooms which were smelly. Housekeeping very poor as was service in general. Food very basic. Couldn't even get a decent cup of coffee. WiFI weak and constantly dropping. Bed linen not changed all week, towels old and frayed. Nothing to do in hotel except listen to music blasting out all day and night from beach club next door.
We caught a bus from central Baku, hoping to dip our fingers and toesin the Caspian Sea. To do this we decided to visit the Ramada, with the intent of a quick stroll on it's beach, and to stay for a drink and (perhaps) a meal. We wandered in past security and down to the beach. As we started wandering back toward the hotel a security guard asked us if we were staying at the hotel, and after we said no, he gently and cordially guided us out of the premises. As we left we did notice that the beach bar was shut - perhaps too early in the season. By the way, the beach was not the best. The worst part was the Caspian itself, which we dabbled hands and feet in. It was slightly oily, and we needed to wash our hands a few times afterwards. If you do visit we suggest that you use the pool.
i strongly recommend this hotel in summer time , every thing is provided here , room service is excellent , reception is helpful , house keeping is great , breakfast is moderate and wifi is quite alright , there is nothing you cant find at his hotel.... rooms are so clean and the beds are realy comfort ... the only problem of this hotel is for the people who wants to go to the city , it is far from the city center ...
I was really disappointed with my both visits to the restaurant in Ramada, both times my colleagues and I ordered starter and a main and both times all arrived at the same time even when second time we specifically asked to get them to get starter 1st and main after (and I speak English and Russian languages), the worst thing was that two if us got main course (with starter) and our third colleague was waiting for his main course another 30 minutes!!! When I approached staff about it and asked for some kind of compensation they said they don't do compensation and don't speak English or Russian and that's after I was ordering all food and they had no problems understanding it! Basically I would never even suggest this place to my enemy! Don't go and don't be disappointed!
We visited this hotel From 11-14 oct 2016. Beautiful Room and Big but very very bad smell in the room and corridor, Besides that sometimes a cigaratts smell in the room, sometimes smells from kitchen if door was open. the rooms was quite but dark without any lamp. Not much choice at breakfast but ok for many days. I was very upset 😔😔😔for check out.i will recommend to everyone when you are check in, you check mini bar content.nice outdoor swimming pool sit and look at sea. Difinitely staff and reception need more training for speak english and guidance.
Ramada hotel is totally an average hotel . but i had a bad experience when i wanted to make Check-out. they claimed we used mini- bar and considered some items that we even didn't see them in the refrigerator . they forced us to pay for some items that there were not in the mini bar. it really made us shocked and regretful. when i was explaining the happend situation for my friends ,i noticed they had the same situation before. so i figured out this is their policy of hotel for earning more money . i wrote down an email for the head office of Rmada and claimed it. don't trust them and be careful if you have a stay there.
Don't trust this hotel and it's staff, they all a bunch of thieves that want to rub you, they welcome you pretty well but when you want to check out they rub you, the hotel and its stall rubbed our mini bar Our mini bar was not fully charged when we checked in but when we were checking out they charged us for 27 AZN and said you have used them. The hotel has a great view you can see Caspian sea from your room and listen to its sound One more bad thing about this hotel is that its rooms smell bad, and no one listens to your requests
Ramada Baku is the nice hotel with big and clean rooms, delicious breakfast, good pools and GYM. It has beautiful sight to Caspian sea. But, the beach is not suitable for swimming because of oil pollution.
The Ramada is a very good hotel with pleasant and helpful staff. The rooms are a good size with nice sea view and balcony to sit out on. The pool area is excellent and very well maintained and clean. No problem getting fresh towels, the staff working around the pool are very attentive. Perfect place to have an over night break from the city. Tremendous improvement in the breakfast presentation since our previous stays.
