The location was far away from the city center and next to a large highway with nothing around it (not even a supermarket). The property is very old and in desperate need of refurbishment. The rooms were big but not clean. The room had awkwardly placed plug-points and the lights were blinking spasmodically. The staff were ok. The breakfast was good as was the room service. We had to ask for the amenities on the second day.
Beautifullly located hotel on a large ground facing the beach. Maybe a bit far away from city center, but therefore quiet and restful. Very attentive staff, all speaking English. Good 24 hour restaurant and marvellous breakfast buffet. The lobby is very spaciouys and has an oriental decor, but not out of taste. Rooms are very large, and bathrooms adequate. Fot EU standard not expensive.
I have no idea why this hotel is rated 5 star at all. I'm normally quite generous with reviews but in this case I had to tell it as it was. There's no redeeming factor about this hotel except the room is relatively cheap (in low season) and it has a good sized balcony (with a view of the bleak beach and grey Caspian Sea). The service is awful. Without going into too much detail, the staff were unfriendly, incompetent and grasping for every penny. I had genuine concerns about the staff's honesty. The rooms are also very old, shabby, and with sharp edges and splinters that need seeing to for safety reasons. Don't bring small kids into these rooms! Also, the electricity set up seems circa 1970s and inconvenient for plugging in and using multiple devices. If you're the kind of person who needs to use and recharge multiple devices for work/entertainment then book another hotel! Take my advice and book another place to stay...
I stayed for 5 days in late September. nothing so much to complain although average in service and facilities. The access to the town in perfect. there is a bus station in front of hotel with modern buses leaving every 10 minutes.
A loving place at front of beach for staying with family. easy access to city, but around 30 minutes drive from Airport. Hotel has very good menu for dine-in. Recommended to book with breakfast to enjoy variety of nice breakfast.
The location of this hotel is away from the centre. By uber it will come appx 5 manat and to apt appx 18 manat as its 30 minutes drive to airport. It seems to be an old property on the beach. The indoor and outdoor pool is really good, but outdoor pool can be used only during summers as it gets quite chilled. The breakfast is just average, there is no omlete station. The worst thing about this hotel is there free wifi it's simply ridiculous. Service is good though. If booking here take the room with the view of Caspian Sea.
A very good place to be with your family. The staff is very kind and professional regarding the standards of Baku. Good restaurant with affordable prices and good quality. It is a place to come if you want to relax near the beach in baku.
I stayed in this hotel in April 2017 and far from the airport 35 min. - Location is little far from the city centre but not as negative because the place is in quite area. - the staff are very kind and polite and helpful. - the receptionist Sevinc was very helpful with all the info and services and the bellboy Fakhri was amazing with him tips to help and provide the comfortable stay. - the rooms are very nice with the amazing view in the balcony towards the Caspian Sea. - Beds are comfortable. - lights in the rooms are not sufficient and the windows are not sound proof as my stay was in the end of winter time and it was bit noisy. - breakfast was not bad but there was no much variety choices.
Dated rooms which were smelly. Housekeeping very poor as was service in general. Food very basic. Couldn't even get a decent cup of coffee. WiFI weak and constantly dropping. Bed linen not changed all week, towels old and frayed. Nothing to do in hotel except listen to music blasting out all day and night from beach club next door.
We caught a bus from central Baku, hoping to dip our fingers and toesin the Caspian Sea. To do this we decided to visit the Ramada, with the intent of a quick stroll on it's beach, and to stay for a drink and (perhaps) a meal. We wandered in past security and down to the beach. As we started wandering back toward the hotel a security guard asked us if we were staying at the hotel, and after we said no, he gently and cordially guided us out of the premises. As we left we did notice that the beach bar was shut - perhaps too early in the season. By the way, the beach was not the best. The worst part was the Caspian itself, which we dabbled hands and feet in. It was slightly oily, and we needed to wash our hands a few times afterwards. If you do visit we suggest that you use the pool.
