the information here is misleading it is ⭐⭐⭐ star not ⭐⭐⭐⭐ hotel, change it. -bathroom tissue holder is broken and toilet bowl is not fix well but have the perfect location.

Super location on the main pedestrian area of Baku. Wasn’t impressed when the elevator quit working for a day and had to climb 4 floors! The room and bed was comfortable. No daily room cleaning. Breakfast was great, but you had to walk to another hotel to get it.

I liked the hotel and would have preferred if hot water had been available. Being on the fourth floor the elevator not working only mattered when moving luggage. Still for the price and location it was good. The WiFi bandwidth was poor but I think it was the hotel, not the country. KFC had good bandwidth.

scam artists

booked this hotel for the location and the fact that it said soundproofed windows on the hotels.com website. seems to be 4 times of rooms on the hotels.com website. a check on hotels.com for july 5 to july 9 shows the following rates. economy double $73.00Deluxe double with kitechenet $82.00 Standard double or twin $82.00 Deluxe suite$120.00 comes with balcony checked in and never paid attention but I was given an economy double. The sound proof windows above a pedestrian only street were allowing 54 decibels of noise to enter the room at 1:30am. complained and was told no rooms available. next morning hotels.com when i complained to them they assured I would get the right room. I left my bags and went about my day. Came back at 3:30 pm to get my new room and relax. They put me in another economy double. I complained and go mad and they showed me the deluxe double with kitchenette. Said we gave you better room since the deluxe is near reception. They were will to downgrade me to a lesser room that is $40 cheaper than the room I booked if i accepted it or to give me the economy room that is $50 cheaper than the one I paid for. They do not understand it. breakfast is in a greasy spoon a building away. this is not a hotel but more like an afterthought where they put bathrooms in rooms.

Very good value for money

Location was excellent, right in the town centre. Hotel arranged a car to pick us up from airport. Room was spacious and clean. There was a slight smell in bathroom when we arrived but it disappeared after running the taps. There was also a small leak somewhere in the bathroom, we couldn’t see exactly where it was coming from. Air con was good in the room. Bottled water and tea making facilities in the room. The lift might be a big of a problem if you’re claustrophobic. Staff were very helpful overall. If we ever happen to come back we would stay here again.

Радушный персонал.Вкусные завтраки в ресторане внизу(на завтрак дают талон на ресепшене). Номер очень большой с балкончиком и видом на город. 繁華街のど真ん中のホテル。

繁華街の中にあるホテルで、部屋は清潔だった。 朝食の場所が、かなり離れていたけど、ちゃんと案内してくれた。 一度、エレベーターが動かず、4階まで上がるのは大変だった。 フロントの係りが、ずっとスマホを触りながら、対応するのは、不愉快だった。

Уютный отель в самом сердце прекрасного города

Мы с мужем провели 5 чудесных дней в прекрасном городе Баку. На это время нашим домом стал отель "Малакан". Нам было там очень уютно, тепло, как дома. Прекрасный персонал заботился о нашем отдыхе так, будто мы для них родные люди. Эмиль, Рафаэль - вы нам очень понравились! Что касается расположения отеля, то лучше не бывает: самый центр города. Одинаково близко и до набережной, и до Старого города. До фуникулёра мы тоже ходили пешком. Понравился завтрак. В общем, когда будем вспоминать Баку, то непременно вспомним и наш отель)! Желаем процветания!

Очень неплохо для первых впечатлений о Баку

Останавливались в феврале, номер поменяли с доплатой на люкс(+20 манатов за ночь).. в описании делюкса с кухней не указано об отсутствии каких либо окон..это стоит учесть...было прохладно ночью..так как окна деревянные со ставнями.. но есть кондиционер...персонал и управляющий Эмин очень дружелюбные..откликаются на любые просьбы, поэтому не стесняйтесь спрашивать и решать все вопросы на месте... завтраки проходят по выбору в двух фуд зонах (отеля сквэр инн - в соседнем здании на 3м этаже и ресторана-кальянной внизу)..нам больше подошло первое.. про месторасположение написано уже все - самый центр старого города...до метро, автобуса примерно 8-10 мин..как и до бульвара набережной..

Отличное расположение. Идеальный отель для отдыха в режиме сон-прогулка. Вечером на улице ОЧЕНЬ! шумно. Но в отеле идеальная звукоизоляция. Завтраки на территории другого отеля в соседнем здании. Отдельное спасибо повару. Кроме стандартного шведского стола, каждый день сюрприз в виде нового угощения от повара. Что касается номера-очень чисто, уборка и смена полотенец ежедневно. Состояние сантехники на высоком уровне. Спасибо.

Zentrales Hotel im Altbau

Das Hotel liegt ausgezeichnet. Direkt am Fountain Square, nur wenige Schritte von der Altstadt. Trotz der Lage an einer beliebten Einkaufs- und Flaniermeile ist es nicht übermäßig laut, da sich die Räumlichkeiten im 4. Stock eines Altbaus befinden, was sich in meterhohen Stuckdecken, Kronleuchtern und Intarsienparkett deutlich zeigt. Die Zimmer sind groß, hell ( durch Holzläden und Vorhänge aber perfekt verdunkelbar) und sauber. Unser Badezimmer war ausreichend groß und hell, allerdings hatte die Handbrause einen defekten Zuleitungsschlauch, was sich aufgrund sprachlicher Barrieren erst bei der dritten Reklamation richten ließ. Nachdem es aber die Möglichkeit gab auf Regendusche umzustellen und wir den Schlauch notdürftig mit Tape kleben konnten, war das kein Drama. Das gesamte Hotelpersonal ist sehr jung, freundlich und ausnehmend bemüht, manchmal hapert es aber noch an der Umsetzung. Die Stadtverwaltung Baku lässt keine Schilder im rechten Winkel zu Gebäuden zu, weshalb es etwas schwierig ist, das Hotel auf Anhieb zu finden. Direkt zwischen Cafés befindet sich beim Stiegenaufgang jedoch ein großes Schild parallel zur Außenmauer des Gebäudes. Generell ein für seinen Preis ausgezeichnetes und sehr zentrales Hotel, das wir jederzeit weiterempfehlen können.

Baku: mille luci, vento, pulizia e azeri gentili

Posizione hotel fantastica, al centro di Nizami street, l'animatissima via pedonale con ristoranti e negozi. In 7'-8' di camminata si raggiunge la fermata metro Sahil che conduce anche alla stazione dei treni dove parte e arriva il bus dell'aeroporto. In 10' si arriva al centro storico patrimonio Unesco (bellissimo) o al lungomare sul Caspio (frequentatissimo) dove si raggiunge la piccola Venezia, il museo del Tappeto o si possono ammirare i colori notturni delle flames tower. Staff hotel gentilissimo, ci hanno stampato le carte di imbarco dell'aereo. Camera e bagno spaziosi. L'unico inconveniente è dover fare la colazione (a buffet) in un'altra struttura (si viene accompagnati), che è discreta per chi la preferisce continentale un po' meno per chi ama il dolce anche se con il the, una fetta di torta o un croissant con miele ci si arrangia. Altrimenti nelle vicinanze ci sono tanti locali, consigliatissimo "Entree" di fronte all'hotel. Pulizia della stanza fatta dietro richiesta, noi eravamo in 5 e sarebbe stato auspicabile farla giornaliera anche se ogni richiesta (prodotti bagno, acqua etc) viene soddisfatta.
