Value for money

Great spacious room with great service and location, I hired a car so was brilliant having free car parking. It’s alwasy a bonus having free breakfast and uninterrupted WiFi in the room saving me bother hanging around in the lobby area

Okay but could have been better

It was average considering the the hotel building was perhaps a remnant of the Russian occupation, door locks to the balcony did not work, the air-conditioner was not working. throughout my stay due to ongoing repair (as informed), the shower heater was unreliable, location was quite a distance 1.4 KM to city center but safe though slightly hilly and pictures in Hotel website not as realistic as the real thing. However, the vicinity was safe, the staff was very friendly especially the housekeeper, receptionist, waiters - Mustafa and the other two guys at the cafe, free wifi was excellent, breakfast was great and the price of the room was reasonably cheap. I was. also given a compelementary coffee maker.

Definitely NOT 4 stars

Stayed for 17 nights: Shower: Almost unusable. Pressure & temp (from cold to hot) changes constantly. Talked to the hotel staff, it's a known "feature" and there is no fix Toilet: When we moved in the water tank would not fill up. Maintenance fixed it Balcony Door: Door did not lock & was hard to open and close; easily accessible by adjacent suits Central Air: did not work during our stay Service: For 10+d. stays have to reg with Migration dept or will get fined 300AZN each when leaving. Hotel is supposed to take care of it afaik. but even if not, a 4* hotel should've been way more proactive. They knew this rule but they never reminded us. We chose to be deported, took a lot of time for paperwork, almost missed our plane Location: Not good food wise, no variety, and all restaurants (Kafe) we went to were smokey and uncomfortable, better off taking public transit/taxi/walking further south for more food Hotel Restaurant: Went once, it was empty, there were 2 people chatting at the bar but no one acknowledged/seated us. Had to ask for menu. Decided to leave. Room Cleaning: Room wasn't cleaned unless asked, floors in living area and washroom were not vacuumed/cleaned once. Had to ask cleaning lady when we needed anything but she was nice Pros: good hair dryer; comf & clean beds/no bugs; price was decent; bidet spray; can ask cleaning lady to do laundry (our 1 load = 5 manats) it's hang dried so expect it the next day; good breakfast selection

Hotel nadający się do remontu, szczególnie pokoje na drugim piętrze. Nie jest godny przyznania im aż czterech gwiazdek. Uważam, ze dwie gwiazdki biorąc pod uwagę inne pokoje uważam i tak za zawyżone. Łazienki nadające się do wymiany urządzeń. Brak wody w toalecie. Niepełna kabina prysznicowa, brakujące jedno skrzydło drzwi. Rozbite duże lustro w pokoju. Niedomykające się drzwi łazienkowe. Pokoje brudne z pozostałościami po poprzednich gościach. Brak kołder, pościeli i ręczników. Obsługa nie reagująca na prośbę zmianę pokojów

Одним словом, всё сломано и грязно! Сантехника в ужасном состоянии: чёрные душевые кабины, поломаны; всё засорено. Двери поломаны, а временами даже не открываются. Ковролин весь грязный и в пятнах. Говорят, что отель открылся лет 5-10 тому назад, по состоянию не скажешь. Хуже завтраков мы ещё не видели: 1 вид сыра, 1 вид колбаски, которую невозможно есть, огурчики и помидорчики, маргарин, хлебушек и мёд.
