We had a great stay! We loved walking the short distance downtown to visit the great bookstore and some good restaurants. The house was clean, well-appointed, and comfortable. We had one tiny issue, and the host responded immediately to take care of things!

The house was beautifully clean and furnished. The hot tub in the covered patio was a huge hit with all (especially after a ski day). The hosts were very responsive to any questions. The location was great. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!

The kitchen had a good assortment of pans - but we added a crockpot. Nice big table and lovely linens. Comfortable beds. We had 8 of us and could have used a few more chairs. Enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub.

The house was great, very nice lay out, clean and good amenities/set up. They even had fresh baked bread ready for us. The location is perfect, you are right in the middle of town close to everything! The beds were comfortable and rooms spacious.

Great place close in town

Great place to stay, walking distance to downtown and restaurants. The bed in my room was very comfortable and I slept amazing. The house has everything that you need to have a relaxing stay and eat in or out. These properties are kept immaculate. Thanks for having us we enjoyed the time there. 10 of 10.

Wonderful place for a friends gathering.

We were 5 friends in town for a reunion. This was the perfect house. It was clean, the layout was perfect, 3 bathrooms was a luxury, the kitchen was great for cooking meals, the outdoor covered patio was a hit, and the checkout and communication with the owners was highly professional. We plan on staying here again next year. There aren’t enough stars to rate how solid this place is.

Anthony lakes trip

We spent a long weekend for spring break. We enjoyed skiing at Anthony Lakes, going to the Oregon Trail museum, playgrounds, and walking around town with our kids. Walking distance to activities in town was great. The house was clean and we enjoyed the fresh bread! Unfortunately, we didn't really take advantage of the hot tub. It wasn't very hot and a seemed like it needed to be cleaned. Overall, a good stay at a good price.

We had a great stay in the very comfortable Madison House. It had everything we needed for our group. We enjoyed the fresh made bread when we arrived and the supply of coffee for our stay. If we had wanted to do a lot of cooking for our group, we would have appreciated a little more cookware options, however, for the little bit of cooking we did, we had what we needed.

Well done historic house

The historic home was remodeled very well. There was room for the six adults in our group to hang out. The location is very close to the downtown area with grocery and restaurants near by. Love the patio with fire pit and hot tub! Perfect after a day at Anthony Lakes ski resort.I gave a 4 star on location only because some of the neighbors are not as well kept, but that is of no fault of the owners!

Loved this property! Dog friendly and close to everything. Only thing I would improve on is expectations for departing. We didn't know if we needed to clear the beds or something else. But overall amazing and will definitely book again. Love. Love. Love

Highly Recommended! Great location and beautifully maintained.

My husband and I, along with our 2 dogs thoroughly enjoyed our 8 day stay at this beautifully updated house. It is spacious, homey and the kitchen is well stocked with basic needs. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are clean. We loved the covered patio. We never got the chance to try the hot tub nor the fire pit but it was nice to have them. The hosts were easy to communicate with especially Brian. He made our stay special. We will definitely come back again.

Great Place to Stay and Play

We had a blast. Great weekend visiting family. House was perfect for a smaller group of 7. Very well kept and great location in the heart of town. Everything was clean and fairly new. We will definitely rent again.
