This hotel does have a breakfast buffet but has few variety of food served... the location is great for tourist because near sm and session road. However, the storage room next to our room was open Up until we checked out. Like all their cleaning materials was exposed and it was a bit creepy walking past through it at night. No one even bothered to close it. And we were one person extra in our room but they only provided us with 2 bathroom towels 1 conditioner, shampoo and soap.. ants also infested are snacks when we were asleep. But we appreciated them calling us when we forgot somthing at the hotel.
Thought this was not actually in our options. We we're lucky to get a room here during the long weekend. The location is great. Very accessible and close to SM baguio and some restaurants. Parking is sufficient and secured. There is a security guard kn duty 24/7. The Hotel is old but well maintained. The lobby is clean and well illuminated. The room though is somehow disappointing. When we arrived at around 6pm, our room was ready. We were escorted to our room. They gave us a room with twin single beds when i specified 1 queen bed. They offered to move us to another room the next day since there were no other available rooms that night. The big turn off is the shower head in our bathroom. This is the kind that has tiny sprays. The angle was terrible also. We have to stand very close to the wall to get a good coverage. The tiny sprays won't reach your legs and feet. Thus you will get cold while showering. This is the worst part of our stay. The staff are attentive and friendly. Room service is fast. The food is great. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet. My wife was happy to eat taho. Food are kids-friendly. Hope the management would do something about the shower.
Contrary to other observations, we found the hotel much to our liking. The ambience was just perfect especially in the lobby. We did not have a single encounter with the staff that was not pleasant. The people manning the front desk especially those in the morning shift were very friendly and even engaged us in small talk. In fact we have already recommended this hotel to our friends and family.
My friend and I went to try their coffee and cake. we Ordered a good cup of coffee, a slice of cheesecake and dolce. we ask for water and the water was serve in a globlet with water stain marks and to add to the horror the handle and base are covered with dust that's almost mad-like. In tagalog sabihin na nating parang galing sa baul na pinamahayan ng ipis. Calling city health of baguio.
Old, run down and dirty bathrooms. I was given a room in what they said was newer building....what a lie! It was horrible. Hair in the bathroom, dirty. This place need a major renovation and upgrade. Why doesn't the tourism department shut down places like this or fine them for their unsanitary practices. Don't stay here.
We booked in this hotel before i went home for a short vacation. It was not the planned hotel but because due to the timing and holy week were lucky to find this hotel through on line booking. Since were in Baguio City which is the summer capital of Pinas; so i decided to take the standard room for 4 days and 3 nights. We arrived at early morning of April 11 and receptionist at the counter immediately checked our booking and gave us room upon check-in. The hotel was clean from its entrance and it has an elevator going to the upper floor. The room as i said is standard but cleaned including the bath rooms. It has common amenities such as toiletries including the towel, It has a flat screen TV for which you can enjoy local and some cable movies. For the fact that most of the time your outside enjoying the scenic view of Baguio City. The breakfast was great in their buffet wherein you can enjoy the local dishes being served such as dangit, local longanisa and more. The room is always clean specially when you put on your room door knob need to clean assure that upon return it is already cleaned. The hotel is a walking distance to SM Baguio and including the famous session road where you can find restaurant when your starving. Also if your fun of walking in the morning there are near by parks such as the burnham park which is only 10-15 minutes walk. The staff are accommodating and helpful. Over all me and my fiancee enjoy staying in this hotel and would love to return in our next vacation in Baguio for its accessibility and its great staff.
Of all the hotels we stayed at through our tour of the phillippines this left most unimpressed.Staff for some reason did not show many of those wonderful Filipino smiles and instead looked nervous and uncertain. The restaurant is nicely appointed and serves good food choices especially at breakfast. We also had to complain about the pillows which did not smell fresh. When the slips were removed we were shocked to see that the pillows were dirty and stained. It took room staff 3 goes to find pillows that were clean!!!We for this reason and others could not recommend it to other travellors.
The pretty receptionists do not only possess beautiful faces but they are also warm, kind and polite. The room is nice and the toilet is clean. The hotel provides extra bed at a very affordable price inclusive of breakfast buffet. The breakfast buffet is commendable. The hotel has a restaurant which serves the guests anytime of the day. I did not have bad experience in this hotel. I highly recommend this to anyone.
This hotel was a pleasant surprise in that it was centrally located but still offered amazing accommodations. The rooms were very modern with a lot of space to spread out. Very comfortable bed and bedding. The bathroom offered plenty of room with a great open air shower. Plenty of room to setup your laptop and get some work done without having to move you bags or clothes. Great bar downstairs with a friendly staff. However the breakfast was just average.
Thin walls, you can hear everything, guests chatting when passing your room, footsteps, dog barking, guests slamming doors, the 2nd floor where they stash all the dirty sheets it was disgusting, seen reviews thats says great and will go back again?..maybe because it's within their budget? and they just wanted a place to stay...... Pros: -close to SM Mall (yeah right, went to this place to have a break from the city noise and city life) -friendly staff (thumbs up) -food is okay -free parking -free wifi (but connection keeps dropping out) Cons: -make sure the hot shower in your room actually works -poor wifi -thin walls -dirty windows -dirty washing area (where they stash all the dirty sheets) -be careful crossing the streets there is no pedestrian crossing in front of the hotel -if you love walking then try a 20min walk to one of the main attractions (not worth it) -if you don't have a car? then you have to taxi every tourist attractions (make sure you have a budget) -baguio is known to be cold but they put a sheet and very thin blanket on the bed so unless you are looking to catch a cold expect to ask for more blankets -toilets are blocked and you will need to ask them to fix it so you can actually use it (or when you realize it doesn't work it may be too late) if you have a tight budget then this is for you, if you don't care about the thin walls and the never ending noises then this is for you, overnight is okay thats if your extremely tired, otherwise try a different hotel, i cant recommend a specific hotel, i'm exactly like everyone one else "you have to try it yourself so you know what its like"
