A good stopover hotel

A really good hotel to stopover, with great views of the Pyrenees. Not far to walk into town. The attached restaurant was good too, and there was plenty of parking.

Hotel was pretty empty when we stayed, which felt odd as it's fairly big. Slightly strange decor, felt rather clinical, no communal areas to relax. However can't really fault it.

Clean and newly renovated rooms.

Stayed here to ski at La Mongie. Hotel rooms were newly renovated with basic amenities. Comfortable stay for a 3 star hotel.

Fabulous view of the Pic du Midi

Having lived in the area for six years we needed a place to stay for a couple of nights and did not want a typically French accommodation, it was clean, a no fuss hotel and very quiet. If your looking for a typical French quaint hotel this is not it. However perfect for us. On the outskirts of Bagneres de Bigorre with a fifteen minute stroll to the shops and restaurants. The View from the Valley rooms are fabulous worth the extra money. The bedding and towels were lovely. Breakfast was great and staff were very nice. Cannot fault the hotel except the room could have been just a tiny bit larger.

Excellent hotel

We stayed one night passing through the region. Good value hotel. Nice location by the river, a few minutes drive out of town. Decent breakfast. Spacious comfortable room, it had a mezzanine level with additional beds. Good bathroom. Staff were excellent except we were given the wrong advice from the front desk and subsequently missed the last gondola up to the Pic Du Midi, very disappointing. Would stay again if visiting the region again.

Why not a room with a view

The hotel is 20 minutes walk from the town centre and as the adjacent restaurant is closed we had no choice. Could not understand why we had to park 100m away from Reception in an area open to anyone when there are car park spaces at the rear of the building with a door into Reception.Why were we given a room at the rear when there were plenty of unused rooms at the front which had the lovely view of the mountains. This was a shame as it influenced our view of what was otherwise a very acceptable budget hotel with friendly, helpful staff
