This is a residence hotel that has all types of reviews. I’ve read them all, the English and the Italian ones. One obvious factor is pricing, as paying more means expecting better accommodations and this is one of those places where price flotation go NUTS (we’re talking about 5x here!). The other thing is the unit type (I don’t recommend the cheapest one – studio/monocale - as it includes only a sofa bed). Also, from what I’ve read there’s a separate building close by where the apartments are not as nice. I’ve stayed on the property shown in the pictures, the unit type was “Apartment, 1 Bedroom” (appartamento, 1 camera da letto) and it includes a bedroom (double bed), a living room with a sofa bed and a bathroom with a decent size shower area (a little bigger than the tiny Italian standard). The living room includes a kitchenette with stove, microwave (NO regular oven), plates, glasses, pans and utensils. There’s an A/C in the living room whereas in the bedroom only a fan. Also, inside the bedroom wardrobe I found a hair blower, an iron and an ironing board. The hotel has a restaurant next door where you can have breakfast and dinner (they don’t serve lunch). I didn’t try because there’s a supermarket 2 blocks away, so I ended up buying food and cooking for myself. They only clean it once a week, so [in most cases] you don’t see the cleaning lady between your arrival and departure. There’s a 50 euro cleaning charge to be paid at check-in and that won’t cover the cleaning of the kitchenette area. You must clean the stove, plates, utensils before you leave, or they’ll charge extra (I think it’s also 50 euro). The hotel has a laundromat area (paid) where you can take care of your dirty laundry. Also, the Internet here is really fast (per the speed of my downloads, I would say it’s a 30 MB). Be aware though that you must ask for one password for each device you’ll use to access the internet, as the login is individual per hardware. I liked the place a lot; The space, convenience, comfort and all that for an incredible low price of 21 euros per night (@ last week of May). One last tip I wished someone had given me is: bring an extension cord with multiple plugs as there’s only ONE outlet plug in the entire living room.

Some good some bad We arrived here just after two in the afternoon, to find that the reception was closed due to an afternoon siesta until 5pm. The reception is across the road from the apartments next to the laundry. After an impromptu visit to the beach to kill some time we checked in and were shown to our apartment. The apartments are situated in a square encircling two pools, and a modest area with sun loungers and parasols. There is also a brick built BBQ area just off from this which is nice. The complex gardens are obviously well looked after as there is an abundance of colourful flowers and plants. There is also small lizards around too. We were in a ground floor apartment, there is no lift to the first floor apartments. There are good and the not so good points in each room so I have split the apartment review by room. Kitchen/Diner The apartment was not really kitted out sufficiently for the maximum occupancy of six that it could hold. we found that there is no grill or oven although there was two grill trays/oven trays in the cupboard. There are two pairs of oven gloves too. There was a fridge, freezer, four ring hob, double sink and a microwave (which covered all the worktop area). There was six cups, glasses, plates and bowls but only four place settings of cutlery. There are a few basics missing such as a kettle, tin opener and any large kitchen utensils. Living Area There is a small TV, an air conditioning unit and a two seater sofa bed, comfy enough for an hour or so but not much longer, then again you don't go on holiday to sit and watch TV. Bedroom Double bed, high enough to store your cases underneath, drawers, wardrobe, and safe. There was only one power socket. There was no air conditioning in here but there was a fan. Bathroom Toilet, Shower, and B day. The only light in here is around the mirror, Not an issue in the daytime as there is a big window. Makes showering at night difficult as it doesn't shine much light through the plastic shower door. There are no towels provided in the apartment, you have to hire these from reception for 8 euros per person. Outside There was a small terrace with a view of the pool area, a clothes airer and a table with four chairs. Pool Area The pool area on two levels, a small pool on the higher level. This pool is about 2 feet deep. The pool overflows into the main pool, this one is about 6 feet deep with no shallow end so be warned if there are non swimmers with you. There is plastic sun loungers around the pool area. There seems to be a little thought into equipping the apartment as there is also an Ironing board, Iron, Hair Dryer and babies sun lounger in a cupboard. The overall standard of the apartment was clean and tidy although some attention to detail is needed to improve the accommodation such as silicone sealant missing in the bathroom. Overall it's a good apartment located around a five minute drive to good beaches, there is a good supermarket two minutes walk away, well presented and in a quiet location. Also I would recommend getting some cat food from the supermarket as there is a stray cat who frequents the complex and will pose for pictures for a bit of cat food

We stayed here a week. The appartement was small. Ours was sold as 6 persons but that would not have fit. The facilities are clean. The bed was a bit hard. In the kitchen the bare essencials are present not more. The swimming pool is nice but the shallow end is too deep for todlers. The beaches in the neighboorhood are great.

Our apartment was good. upstairs is much better than downstairs due to the loud chairs.Italian style. simple but everything available. Nevertheless the shower is tiny. No chance for big people to enjoy the shower. we had a good time. It's a well maintained area. restaurant, laundry and supermarket very close. Friendly staff. Beautiful wide beach in 2km. it was our third time at Badus. We like it due to the pool area , free wifi and that all necessary shops are close. But we suggest that all travelers get offically the informations about the pool usage during the check-in procedure at the reception. every day new people arrived and didn't know about the closing time of the pool from 13-16.30 o'clock and jumped to the pool and behaved very noisy. this is the reason why we won't return in near future. it was pretty loud due to several guests that didn't realise that they are not alone (pool and in the mornings and evenings). the apartment area is too tight for loud people because the resound/echo for all other guests is intense and not meant for people who like to have a calm vacation

Can't fault this place at all. Comfortable, clean rooms. Lovely swimming pools. Quiet and relaxing. Not a large complex so nice and peaceful. Really friendly and helpful staff, especially Loredana! Will need a car. Can't wait to go back!

A well run beautifully maintained hotel. Clean, bright and marvelous flowered gardens. Quietly situated, with access to an excellent sandy local beach 2 miles away. Hotel Area is Surrounded by mountains with unbelievable views.! Staff were friendly and helpful and a bar/restaurant a few yards away above reception. If you leave the hotel you will need a car, but the hotel can arrange this for you. Beautiful hotel and stupendous island.

Our second time there and would fully recommend! Great for kids and families. Just make sure you bring everything like soap, oil, salt bc that's not included and you're all set! The staff are a delight and very helpful and the pool is a big plus.

The apartment is rather large and we had a nice view from our balcony. If you want to cook you will be a bit challenges without many basic things such as an oven, cutting board etc. Also you need to provide yourself with everything from toilet paper to garbage bags. We also had to pay 35 euro for a baby bed which I find a little bit bad service. The pool area is fine. Showers needed to be fixed as the drain was blocked but they fixed that straight away, so the service was fine. The town however is very small and you need a car.

This is an excellent location for families. It is so peaceful and quiet and all the residents are very respectful of one another. The views of the surrounding mountains and to the coast are sublime. The apartments are perfect with all requirements met, the only con being there is no air-conditioning and only one fan. The pool area is lovely with two pools one for children and one larger deeper pool. It is close to local amenities, the supermarket is a 5 minute walk away and has everything that is needed (fish, meat, bakery and cheese counters). The Badesi beach is a 5 minute drive which is lovely. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly allowing us a later check out due to our late flight. I cannot recommend this place enough and we will definitely be returning next year.

Excellent location, unspoilt by tourism, surrounded by locals. Requested a pool view when booking and received a free upgrade didnt have any issues with the bed and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils, wifi is a bit hit and miss as you have an individual code for every appliance and have to keep re entering the code. Young lady on reception spoke excellent english and was always happy and helpful. Pool and gardens are very well maintained however the pool rules are that you cannot use it between the hours of 1.30 pm and 4pm, in fact everything seems to shut down during these hours so if you need supplies make sure you get them before these times as although there are plenty of supermarkets in the area they are are closed Tried Badesi beach but it was not as nice as Isolo Rosso or nearby Castelsardo. If you plan on going to the beach take a trip to the recycling area (where you dispose of your rubbish) as everyone else who has bought a beach umbrella leaves them there rather than take them home. Dogs do bark at night, there are several at the rear of the property that are tied up during the day but the locals seem to let them all off at night to roam, they do get together in a pack and are a bit territorial as they tend to run toward you barking, ignore them and they wont do anything but useful to bear in mind if you are nervous of dogs or have a small child that could be scared. Parking is free and easy. All the upper balconies are at the same level and overlook each other so if your neighbours are smokers that can be a bit of a nuisance. We thought we had a problem with the gas at the property, and maintenance in fairness responded very promptly but the flow of gas is very slow (unlike the UK when you turn it on you hear the hiss of gas, this does not happen there again something to be aware of in case you leave a ring on) We didnt have any issues with water pressure and found it ok, nobody will maintain your room during the week, there are two small guest soaps 2 sachets of shampoo and 1 toilet roll, we took our own towels so didnt need to rent any. All supplies you need can be purchased from the many supermarkets in the area, recommend the ice cube bags to make life more pleasant. The iron and hairdryer provided at the property dont seem to fit the plugs in the wall properly for some reason however there is some sort of adapter in the microwave plug that can be used to make everything fit. Previous guests leave books in a seating area, and i would recommend exploring the property to find out all of these things. Badus Cafe is across the road not onsite behind the Biblioteque and there is also a new Amphitheatre opposite the property that holds events didnt bother me but kept my husband awake a few times. There is no aircon or fans so it is very warm, we slept with all the doors and windows open as we preferred the one or two insect bites to not sleeping due to the heat, insect repellent would have done the job. All in all a beautiful place would totally recommend it.
