Home from home

We were first offered an upstairs apartment but I explained my condition and was immediately offered a beautiful ground floor flat with all amenities We didn’t use them except the kettle and the shower was great The sitting area and bedroom was a lot better than expected All in all fully recommended for short or long stay. The town with its tree lined foot ways was a peaceful dream Parking was private and secure.. Thank you for our stay

We were given a room in a different building, actually a different hotel, Bad Pyrmonter Hof, of the same owner. I didn't like this last minute change. The new place had no garden. I also expected a real double bed, not the twin bed we found in the room. Finally, street noise was very annoying, much more than expected. We had to close the windows to sleep after 6AM. The staff were nice, though, and breakfast was good. Price is reasonable (though I would have gladly paid a bit more for a double bed and less noise and access to a garden). It's a three star hotel, but I'd rate it at two.

Garantiert nie wieder!

Erstaunlich dass mitten in Deutschland sich ein Hotel ohne größere Investitionen aus der Nachkriegszeit herübergerettet hat. Erst mal daran vorbeigefahren da das griechische Restaurant die besseren Schilder hat, die beworbenen Parkplätze existierten nicht, bis zur „Rezeption“ bin ich nur vorgedrungen weil mir ein anderer Gast die verschlossene Türe geöffnet und den Weg gezeigt hat. Begrüßung Fehlanzeige , der gesamte Servicewenig kompetent. Ein Hotelzimmer mit Buntbartschloss habe ich zuletzt 1991 in Thüringen erlebt, immerhin ist das Bett jünger. Allerdings ein Ausklappsofa. Überhaupt erinnert vieles an die DDR-Zeiten: Tapete munter über Fensterrahmen und Kabel geklebt, TV aus den Anfängen der Flachbildschirmära, überhaupt die gesamte Einrichtung wild zusammengewürfelt. Dafür wurde der PVC Bodenbelag großzügig über Randleisten verlegt und an den Rändern hochgezogen. So kann man den Raum mit dem Schlauch rausspritzen, praktisch! Badezimmer ebenfalls ein Sammelsurium, wenn ich mich recht erinnere müsste der Spülkasten aus den 70ern stammen, wie auch die Duschkabine. Ohne weiter ins Detail zu gehen: All das geht nicht. Gar nicht.

Guter Aufenthalt

Es war ein sehr netter Aufenthalt in der Pension bzw. in dem Hotel Bad Pyrmont . Da die Unterbringung nicht voll belegt war, hat man mich im Hotel einquartiert. Es war ein sehr nettes Zimmer, sehr sauber zwar schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber das hat mich nicht gestört. Das Frühstück war prima. Der Empfang war sehr nett und ich habe mich bei dem Aufenthalt sehr wohl gefühlt. Ich würde jederzeit dort wieder buchen.

Lekker geslapen maar lang inchecken

Inchecken duurde erg lang, weliswaar door een zeer vriendelijke meneer. Gegevens van de elektronische boeking leken niet meer beschikbaar. Verder wat gedateerd interieur maar proper en goede bedden.

Da alle Zimmer belegt waren, haben wir ein sehr großes Appartment bekommen. Dies war neu renoviert. IDie Einrichtung war im Schlafraum und im Bad seht gut.
