"Excellent Staff, peaceful beautiful scenic location" The staff at this hotel were truly exceptional. Their friendliness and helpfulness were outstanding. Upon our arrival, the internal road leading to the hotel was completely covered in snow. The staff went above and beyond their duties by assisting us in clearing the path, ensuring we could safely reach the hotel. Their hospitality was deeply appreciated. The dinner and breakfast was excellent. Note for Owner: While the staff were fantastic, ensuring a clear route to the hotel for guests arriving by car, especially during winter months will be helpful.

This was my first time staying at a “reading hotel” and I absolutely loved it! I loved the idea of wearing slippers around the hotel to give me that feeling as if I was home. I loved the view from the hotel especially sitting outside to breathe in the refreshing air. Being from an urban city, it was my first time seeing cattle, lambs and roosters that would cross the roads, the view from up top on a bright summer morning, and view of the picturesque mountains. The staff was very kind and helped me with any questions I had. I highly recommend this place to anyone hoping to stay near Hallstatt as it was only 20 mins away.
