Das Hotel befindet sich in einem tadellosen Zustand. Die Einrichtung ist geschmackvoll. Die Zimmer neu renoviert. Kleines, aber gemütliches Bad. Sehr sauber und zweckmäßig. Großes Angebot an Wellness-Einrichtungen im Haus. Thermalbad, div. Saunen, Anwendungen. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Sehr serviceorientiert. Zuvorkommendes, freundliches und hilfreiches Personal, Gutes Restaurant, erstklassiges Frühstücksbuffet.

Baden und golfen kann man dort perfekt verbinden.

Wir fahren jedes Jahr zum Golfen nach Bad Birnbach. Mann könnte jeden Tag einen anderen Platz in der Umgebung spielen. Der Golfplatz Bad Birnbach ist allerdings sehr anstrengend und mühsam zu spielen. Falls das Wetter schlecht ist, kann man einen Ausflug nach Passau machen. Eine sehenswerte Stadt. Es ist ein ruhiger, sportlicher, erholsamer Urlaub dort.

Ruhe und Erholung pur!

Waren schon oft in dem Hotel und es gibt wenig zu bemängeln. Wenn man was negatives suchen will: Kein W-Lan auf den Zimmern, Saunaöffnungszeiten etwas mager, Wasser der kleineren Pools auch mal deutlich kühl...aber mehr fällt uns nicht ein. Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht ist hier definitiv nicht falsch!

Schönes, gepflegtes Wellnesshotel, Komfortzimmer mit sehr schönen neuen Badezimmern, Frühstücksbüffet sehr gut mit viel frischem Obst, Abendmenüs schmackhaft und schön präsentiert, Personal sehr freundlich, Wellnessbereich nicht außergewöhnlich, aber in Ordnung.

Gut, aber

Wenn Sie dieses Hotel wählen, vergewissern Sie sich besser, dass dort nicht gerade umgebaut wird - denn weder Expedia noch das Hotel wird Sie darauf aufmerksam machen. Bohrer um 7:30 Uhr morgens sind nicht so meine Sache. Das Personal ist wirklich sehr bemüht, denken Sie aber bitte daran, dass Sie nicht in einer Metropole absteigen. Wenn Sie also um 22 Uhr noch einen Zugang zum LAN benötigen ... geht das nicht. WLAN gibt es gar nicht. Im Restaurant ist es ähnlich. Der Service ist wirklich bemüht, die Weine sind durchschnittlich und auch ein wenig teuer, die Küche ... ist nicht schlecht, aber ... Wenn Sie einfach ein wenig Ruhe suchen und sich nicht von 4+ Sternen blenden lassen dann sind Sie genau richtig.

4 Sterne nicht in allen Bereichen

Wer sich zwei, drei Tage so richtig erholen möchte, ist hier gut aufgehoben. Der Wellness-Bereich erfüllt die Erwartungen, allerdings muss man klar sagen, dass die vier Sterne nicht auf alle Bereiche des Hotels passen. Unser Doppelzimmer war zwar richtig groß, dafür aber nur sehr sperrlich und alt eingerichtet. Im Zimmer mochte man so nicht viel Zeit verbringen. Und auch das Personal war nicht immer eines vier Sterne Hotels würdig. Unter der Woche waren die Bar, das zweite Restaurant und die Wellness-Bar teilweise nicht besetzt und man musste erst nach Personal suchen, bevor man etwas bestellen konnte. Zudem wirkte manches Personal etwas überfordert (kannte die eigene Speisekarte nicht oder war schlicht unfreundlich). Sehr negativ fiel auf, dass am Wochenende nicht aus der normalen Speisekarte gewählt werden konnte, sondern ausschließlich das Gala-Menü zur Verfügung stand. Bei zwei Personen sind das locker über 100,- Euro an Extraausgaben. Aber es gab auch Lichtblicke. So wurde man nach kurzem Telefonat persönlich am Bahnhof abgeholt (Taxis sind in der Region sehr selten) und der Barmann sowie eine blonde Frühstücksfee waren die pure Freundlichkeit in Person. Für das Hotel absolut Gold wert. Fazit. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Allerdings nur noch zwischen Montag und Freitag und nicht länger als vier Tage.

Zum Entspannen sehr empfehlenswert

Kurzreise im März 3 Übernachtungen mit Halbpension gebucht. Galeriezimmer mit separatem Wohnraum, Flachbildschirm und Treppe zum Schlafbereich. Sehr sauber. Das Frühstück war umfangreich, viele Brot- und Semmelsorten. Reichlich Wurst, Schinken, Käse, Müsli und verschiedene Säfte zur Auswahl. Das Abendessen war sehr lecker angerichtet und man hatte die Wahl auch zu einem fleischlosen Gericht auszuwählen. Das Personal war stets freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir würden nicht mehr freitags anreisen, zuviele Gäste da, bei Kurzreise hat man dann Probleme noch Termine in der Wellnessabteilung zu bekommen.

Toller Wellnessbereich zum entspannen und verwöhnen. Alles sehr sauber. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Leider lassen sich die Fenster auf den Zimmern nicht verdunkeln. Dadurch ist man sehr früh wach. Das Essen ist gut und beim Frühstück hat man eine große Auswahl.
