The breakfast was not free. But fairly priced for continental breakfast. The room was clean but small and a nice modern shower with good ventilation. Only thing missing was fridge.

The outside looked tired. The reception was clean and the checking in manager extremely helpful and polite. Our room was very basic but tge bedding and towels were good and spotlessly clean. The big disappointment was the the room had a constant smell of urine, really not pleasant! We left early and I had decided to tell the manager about our stay, but he didn't ask! Lesson learnt; pleased I'd found a bargain, but you do get what you pay for.☹️

Stayed here for one night. Very warm welcome on check in and throughout our stay. Areas of the hotel have been brought up to date giving a pleasant ambience. Rooms are clean and functional although bathrooms are dated by present day standards. Good continental breakfast with a range of bakery items, cold meats and cheeses.

Manager was nice and helpful, but we found the Hotel old and tired. Bathroom was not good. The tub didn’t drain and black sludge floated in the tub while showering. Shower curtain was moldy.

Nice hotel near the centre of Azay le Rideau

Well placed for cycling (or driving around the chateaux de la Loire. Private parking for cars and bikes. Large rooms unfortunately face the main road which is a bit noisy early morning, but we got used to it. Rooms at the back are quieter, smaller but adequate. Manager and staff all very pleasant and helpful. Good buffet breakfast at reasonable price.

Je n'ai pas trouvé ce qui justifiait 3 étoiles. Tout était correct, propre, confortable mais classique. Le Wi-Fi était trop faible. J'ai utilisé les données mobiles. Au petit-déjeuner le pain est très bon. Pas de produit local: le miel en emballage unique est d'origine UE et non UE (écrit dessus).
