Room 004 Kyriad Direct Aytre

Our room was 004. Reception did not speak English and made no attempt to understand anything. One of the doors to the car park could not be locked as it had been forced and part of the frame was missing, this meant anyone could enter the passages to rooms. Room 004: window restraint was missing so we could not open window safely. The shower head was broken, could not raised, the soap dispenser in the shower was loose. The wc seat was broken. The soap dispenser by the sink was on the floor having been pulled off the wall- hence NO soap by the sink. Bulb missing over the sink making it difficult with limited light. I have already contacted Hotels.com auto talk and told this will be looked at. The pool was very nice I have stayed at the Hotel some years ago but will not be staying again. The whole hotel needed a refresh, including the very poor buffet breakfast. Nothing could compare with a B&B Hotel!!!!

4 Day stay

When we arrived at 5.00pm on Sunday afternoon the hotel was deserted. Automatic check-in machine! If someone had been at reception we would have asked to change our room,particularly as the place appeared practically empty, because our shower head bracket was broken so had to be hand held for the entire stay. Also being sited on the 2nd floor was difficult for us as we are both over 70 and have both had hip surgery. We enjoyed our continental breakfast each day and our swim in the nice private pool in the early evenings. Thank you.

The soap dispenser in the bathroom was broken and hadn't been fixed. There was no lift. There was dust on the pillow but the room was lovely and warm. There was a plastic sheet under the sheet and that was uncomfortable. Not a great stay. The breakfast was adequate and lots of hot coffee.

Simple, cheap budget hotel in an industrial estate by dual carriageway. Room v small but ok, good shower and a brilliant breakfast worth the money, best breakfast in a budget french hotel chain ever, and we’ve tried a few!

Even if you can find this establishment.. Give it a miss.. They are totally rude.. And only reception open at times... It is at the back of an industrial estate.. And assume. Just for the French workers to stay... We have recently. Spent many days in hotels and never had this before.. They even slammed phone down on the bookings company used

Hôtel dans son jus. Même si on voit que c’est nettoyé, la vétusté prend le dessus n’en donnant pas une bonne image .N’importe qui peut entrer ou sortir de l’hôtel, les accès par carte magnétique étant hors service. Les chambres sont trop petites à 2, peu de places pour circuler…bureau présent dans la chambre avec chaise mais pas possible de s’y installer la chaise étant bloquée par le lit. Pas d’ascenseur, en tout cas pas vu, donc difficile d’accès au 1ere étage avec grosses valises. En revanche le personnel est agréable et le petit déjeuner est tout à fait correct. Pour nous cet hôtel classé 3 étoiles n’est pas justifié.
