Joined a family event here and it was a nice day, the hotel is generally very tired and a little run down, not sure about the bedrooms as we didn't stay over. But The staff are really dedicated and work incredibly hard to make everything perfect. well done to you all.

We gathered for a full on family party on a day with a massive wedding. The hotel coped with us all brilliantly. There were just a few little things which knocked the edges off a bit. The rooms were spread around a rambling building. V comfortable but anonymous. Very good to have an abundance of electric sockets for charging phones etc. Pool and health facilities were good. We had a lovely time. However despite pre-warning the hotel that our daughter was vegan and gluten free- they 'ran out' of of options by breakfast which put a bit of a downer on the stay. Thanks particularly to our lovely barmaid.

The exterior of the hotel and surroundings are beautiful. There are wonderful views from the terrace. The hotel reception staff are very welcoming and helpful. We stayed in a superior room (9) which was spacious and had a comfortable bed and was lovely with the beams, open ceiling and original features. We had a few problems, the worst of which was the food. The menus in the restaurant are extremely limited. On the first night my fish was way over cooked and I had to choose a different dish which when served had none of the sauces etc. and was just the steak. On the second night my partners bolognaise had very little meat/sauce and my dessert was served whilst he was eating his main as "the kitchen staff want to go home". Breakfast looked good but didn't taste as good, except for the pastries. Our room wasn't properly cleaned after the first night. The beauty room was not open all day. Whilst this is separate to the hotel it would be helpful if the hotel staff were aware of this and were aware of how to contact them for bookings. Once I was in there it was great. The pool closes for cleaning lunchtime, but this was not posted, and the changing room is it great. The Terrace and bar/lounge is lovely to relax in but for a lot of the time you have to ring reception for them to get someone to serve you. Overall considering the cost compared to other Best Westerns in the area this is fair value for money. We are considering a return visit to see if these issues are resolved. If they are this could be a wonderful place to stay.

Our room has been newly refurbished, it was clean and nice, with beautiful views over The country side. We found al the staff extremely helpful and friendly. There was a wedding and party going on, being a Saturday, but we didn't feel any less looked after. Pool is lovely, and you can sit outside on a warm day and look at the views. We ate in and found the food very good. We stopped off on our way down to Cornwall and we will do it again. Highly recommend- still has that personal touch big hotels often lose.

We attended this hotel because my nephew (one of many) decided to get married here. We came the day before for a chill out session and were delighted with the welcome and atmosphere. Apparently this was an Edwardian house and the design and decor has been largely kept which means that its not a modern facility with pristine purpose built rooms but a building full of character and charm. The staff were very attentive and friendly and the food was well above average. We were in the extended part of the hotel with 3 floors of rooms. There was no lift which was a bit of a struggle with the cases as we were on the 3rd floor but we were offered a member of staff to help us move in. We chose to be a bit healthy and did it ourselves. The dining room was really charming, again styled in the original way and this added to the character of the hotel. The wedding was superbly handled and all amenities offered to the guests including the extensive patio area with views across the Somerset levels to the nearby town of Burnham on Sea. When using hotels we tend to use more budget national chains but this, although a bit more expensive, was well worth the extra. Its a good base to be to explore the area with National Trust houses, The Steam railway, Weston Super Mare and Burnham on Sea to visit. And the breakfast is something really special! And the swimming pool is an inclusive facility and you can use the Spa (maybe an additional cost). All in all - well worth a visit

We held our daughter and son in laws wedding reception here on Saturday , and the day was wonderful. The Wedding events team were really helpful , our son in law is Danish, and we wanted to combine the two cultures on the day, and it went marvellously The staff were so helpful in delaying the serving of food , in between courses, so we could fit in all the speeches and traditions , nothing was a problem to them. The Tiark room looked fabulous , thank you ! Our evening party was in the Bleadon suite , and the Garden room, and everything such as the flowers, etc was carefully moved , so that the evening looked as lovely as the day time . Would highly recommend , thank you Lucy, and all the team, you made a day to remember for ever .

Decent hotel, but pictures can be deceiving. It looked quaint and well-kept in photos, but I found the place to be a bit outdated and run down. Our room was way, way in the back of the building, yet the only access to it was through the lobby, then a series of inconvenient corridors and a courtyard. The beds were hard, pillows very flat, and I could feel the mattress springs beneath me. There was also a very loud wedding party while we were there, which the staff courteously warned us of, but it was frustrating when rather drunken guests were retiring to their rooms in a bustle of noise in the wee hours of the morning.

We held our Wedding at the Webbington last week, we chose it as it seemed to have everything we wanted in a beautiful location. I must admit I was a little worried when our original wedding planner left the company but I needn't had as both Lucy-jayne and Lucy did a fantastic job. Everything was perfect and just how I wanted it. Nothing was too much trouble and I was made to feel relaxed. The ceremony room and the reception room were both set up beautifully and everything went very smoothly. The staff all worked very well together. The food was lovely and the evening buffet was plentiful. The guest bedrooms were well equipped and the spa facilities were a bonus. The duty manager who looked after us in the evening was great, couldn't of asked for better service. Thank you for making our day so perfect!

Thank you to Lucy, Jamie and the entire staff at the Webbington for making our 70th birthday bash so memorable. Nothing was too much trouble, the relaxed atmosphere and great food all made for a wonderful day, enjoyed by all. So good even Ironman in full outfit turned at midnight. The entire family is still talking about how good the Webbington staff made us all feel. The rooms were great and even fitting in three extra beds for families was taken in their stride. Thank you Webbington Hotel for making everybody feel so special.

Spent 1ngt here. The hotel staff are all nice and friendly. Though bedroom was spacious and had good shower, it was fairly dark and no view or much light from window. Dinner for both of us was nothing outstanding and my steak very chewy.
