very convoluted hotel plan, terrible garage, hot tubs far away, bad hot water, and ski in/out not available because lift closed. forced to use bad transport system

Great Ski In-Out option. Elkhorn lift is not fast but gets you to a good point on the mountain to start your ski day. Hot tub options were great. Work out room and Spa are very good. 1 BDR Condo was wonderful. Wood for fireplace was dry and plentiful. Kitchen was well appointed and appliances were top notch. Layout of the facility is confusing with different levels and some distance between buildings. Okay once you figure it out but get good directions on where to park and how to get around to the restaurants / pool / ski out etc.
I stay at this property for convenience, price, value, proximity to slope, nice bar area, helpful staff. Staff is very accommodating, and helpful to ensure a nice trip. Free valet parking, easy to access Elkhorn lift, no resort fee's. The frills in this property are with a staff that is willing to go the extra mile to help you. Breakfast at the hotel restaurant is great, and not expensive.
We stayed in a ski in/out condo on the Terrace level and it was fantastic. There was a welcome reception with wine/cheese the day we checked in, and warm cookies and hot chocolate everyday at 3pm. The walk to BC village is short and easy, and the staff was very accommodating. The pool and hot tubs were a big hit with my family as well! Thanks Charter we’ll be back!
The hotel is a good location near to the slopes. The Black Diamond Bistro is a great restaurant.
Checkout @ 10 am ? Check in after 4 pm? Unbelievable. When we asked to have it at least at 12 pm, they had to involved the manager for nothing, 10 am !
Great location! Plenty of room for everyone! Spa, pool and hot tubs were great. Fireplaces hard to keep going and restaurants a little pricey especially for breakfast, but all in all would definitely go back!

Hotel was nicer than expected. Felt like it had European style to it. Had a vintage charm to it. Room was very cozy. Getting around between the buildings and the parking garage was a bit confusing but there are maps to help out. I'd stay there again.
Nice hotel just room needed updating. Also, better quality mattress.
When we first arrived we were given keys to a room that was, quite frankly, depressing. It was on the ground floor, it was hot, dark, and stuffy, and its one window looked out onto the corner of a concrete courtyard. I asked the front desk staff if a different room was available, and they upgraded us (for no charge) to a beautiful corner room that overlooked the trees and the pool. So, the property itself gets 4 stars because rooms like the first one exist and I sympathize if you get stuck in one at high season. But staff were attentive, friendly, and helpful!
