Enjoy sunshine and sea breezes on the deck and kick back for comfortable outdoor living on the screened porch. After trips to the beach, rinse-off sand and saltwater in the convenient outdoor shower before heading inside. The bright, lofted interior area features an open living area designed for group gatherings and the full kitchen features all the major appliances including a new stove for cooking in 2025 and a new dishwasher for easy cleanup in 2025. Central air-conditioning, free WiFi, and a private washer/dryer round out the modern home essentials. Additional perks include a private hot tub and complimentary access to the seasonal, Club Hatteras pool.

Fantastic house and location!

This house is great. Right on the beach in a quiet neighborhood; it’s exactly what I and my partner were looking for. The listing is very accurate regarding the rooms and living areas. Also, there are plenty of stores within minutes of the house. I highly recommend staying here.

Vacasa had workers tearing up sidewalks and replacing them four days of our stay. It was very disruptive, interrupted naps and really took away from the relaxation. Everything else was fantastic!

30th birthday trip

This was the perfect little place for us to stay in the OBX. Everything was clean and you could see the beach from the top deck. Everything worked in the kitchen ( we went to food lion and cooked almost every night ) Everything in the description was correct. The hot tub is out of this world! I will be staying here again!

We had a great week at Piper’s Nest. We stayed here with a family of 5 and it was the perfect size. Our two teenage girls loved the loft area! The location was perfect. It was quiet and there were plenty of restaurants and shops close by. The beach was just over the dunes which was amazing. The only thing I wish we had access to was some beach equipment. There were no beach chairs or beach towels available. The house was clean, comfortable and well maintained. We had one minor issue with the tub faucet not turning off fully and the Vacasa team was very quick and responsive and had someone there to fix it almost immediately. We were overall very happy with our stay and would definitely stay here again!

Tranquil Retreat Steps from the Shore

My recent stay at Pipers Nest beach house in Avon Beach, NC, was a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Nestled in a quiet and secluded location, this charming coastal abode offered a serene retreat during the off-season. As advertised, the proximity to the beach was unbeatable - just a few steps away, making it an ideal choice for those seeking the soothing sounds of the ocean and the soft touch of sand beneath their feet. The privacy of the off-season added an extra layer of tranquility, turning the beach into a private haven. The house itself, while generally meeting expectations, did leave a bit to be desired in terms of upkeep. The appliances showed signs of rust, which, while not affecting functionality, gave a slightly worn appearance. The need for a touch-up in this regard was apparent, and it would enhance the overall aesthetic of the property. One minor inconvenience was the state of the coffee pot. Coffee enthusiasts, beware - you might want to bring your own pot. The provided one seemed a bit worse for wear and could use an upgrade. While this was a small hiccup, it's worth noting for those who rely on a good cup of joe to kickstart their mornings. Despite these minor drawbacks, the overall experience was positive, and the charm of the location far outweighed any imperfections. If you're looking for a quiet getaway with easy beach access, this Avon Beach house is worth considering,

Communication a struggle!

This house is very cute, and more spacious than what it appears like from the outside with 3 different porch areas to sit on. The little captain's nest was my favorite for coffee in the morning to try to catch the sun rise, but it was a bit cloudy the days I was there, and the dunes towards the ocean occlude it a bit. Its also a bit farther than the pictures depict from the house to the water, through some deeper sand with uphill grades in places, but standing at the water's edge was worth it! Beds were cozy, two bathrooms was nice, and the hot tub sealed the deal for us-was so nice to sip coffee in it to warm and wake up, and fits 8 easily, probably!! Someone came unannounced to do hot tub maintenance early morning on Saturday, was thrown off by this, as I wasn't dressed yet, and embarassed.. I'd give it a higher rating, but the management company needs WORK. They appear to use automated text to reply, and even then, there's miscommunications everywhere. I requested a late check out, as I had an afternoon flight, was told that I had missed the window for acceptance and payment even though I had arrived to the property less than 12 hours earlier. It took about an hour and NUMEROUS texts and finally a call to sort it out. They tried to charge me twice for my late check out fee. I got messages about enjoying my last day two days after I had left. There are NO staples in the house besides toilet paper and a roll of paper towel, so bring whatever you need for cooking.
