Our room was large and clean. The breakfast was a bit thin, but it was the end of our trip so we were fine with it. The hotel in inside the old walls and very cool. Easy to walk to everything and a great experience.

Lovely place, one of the nicest places I've stayed in in Spain. Very large, clean and comfortable rooms. Staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent location. If I had any complaint it is that the service in the restaurant is very slow (but I think it was because there wasn't *enough* staff; what staff they had were excellent). I know from decades of experience how service works in Spain (and I LIKE their style); this wasn't it; they had 2-3 waitstaff for a completely full restaurant (~30 tables) with a line waiting to get in. Last but not least, I really enjoyed the "restoration of a palace" design choice; they left the timber ceilings as well as sections of medieval and Renaissance stone and brick exposed, a very nice touch.
