Property located within the walls of Avilia. Researched first on their website, http://www.hostaldondiego.es/en/don_diego_hostel. Parking under the hotel and rooms air conditioned. Booked site and sent email requesting parking. On arrival noted no catering for disability. No one at reception so had to ring external doorbell. After a while a male let us in. WARNING do not arrive in the afternoon when he is on siesta, grumpy does not cover it. No parking had been reserved and when asked where I could park, a shrug of the shoulders and pointed to the streets on the map. Although he knew no English he gave no indication that the meter charge for on street parking was for max of 2 hours. Ended up in expensive local car park. Stairs up to the room, no lift. There was a communal kitchen, but the fridge/freezer was so full there was no room for a bottle of water. Room was largish with a comfortable bed and clean bathroom. No a/c and found out, later that night, that ceiling fan didn't work properly. Room like a sauna. Booked 2 nights in June, stayed one.

Perfecto!! Un poco ruidoso pero habitación cómoda.

Buena experiencia, la habitación super limpia, cómoda.. con respecto al personal no tengo queja pues se portaron muy bien, super amables y atentos.. la única pega es los ruidos a las 9 de la mañana y el ruido de los coches por la noche Pero por lo demás todo Perfecto, sin duda recomendable.

파라도르 바로 마주보고 있습니다. 아주 가까운 곳에 성벽 올라갈 수 있는 곳이 있습니다. 멀긴 하지만 전망대도 걸어갔다가 올 수 있습니다. 제가 갔을 때 체크인하시는 분이 영어 못 하시는 분이었는데 구글 번역기 이용해서 진짜 친절하게 다 도와주셔서 너무 감사했습니다.

Hay pocas plazas de parking y tienes que reservarlo con antelación. Reservamos una vez allí y aún así se les olvidó y nos quedamos sin plaza. Además un día me dejaron sin toallas en el baño y como no suelen estar en recepción fue complicado pedirlas (hasta el día siguiente me quedé dsin ellas). Paciencia con la encargada de tarde, estuvimos 45 minutos para hacer el check-in de 4 personas, no sé si es que entiende mal el castellano. La habitación correcta, aunque la cama no era cómoda. Todo limpio (aunque un día sin toallas y como no están a menudo en recepción fue complicado pedirlas),

Hotel bien situado en la zona casco histórico. La habitación bastante buena y amplia. Tienen ventilador en el techo para el verano. No hay aire acondicionado. El baño con ducha hidromasaje. Hay una cocina compartida en la que puedes prepararte algo a media noche. El desayuno es bastante económico y te lo sirve una empleada del hostal. Recomendaría la estancia.

Don Diego is friendly, clean, a bit oldfasioned interior. The hostal is also a bar with good food and cold beer.
