Check-in was friendly, informative, and quick. Our room was lovely & toasty for our arrival 😀 which was great as it was sub-zero outside. The beds were really comfy, as were the pillows, & the bedding was immaculately clean. Plenty of wardrobe, hanging, drawer space, and a wall mounted TV. Complimentary tea & biscuits, and getting extra tea, sugar, milk etc was not a problem. The bathroom was immaculate too, with an illuminated mirror, shaving point, toilet, sink, heated towel rail, lovely fresh towels, large shower cubicle, & great shower. Locally sourced shampoos, bodywash, and hand soaps are also provided. There is a hairdryer provided too. There is a drying room located on the ground floor, & even a washer. Also on the ground floor is the guest lounge, with comfy sofa's, books, radio, table & chairs, and a clean communal fridge. The included breakfast was absolutely amazing & cooked to perfection every single day. There was also tea, toast, fruit & yoghurt, fresh orange & apple juice. It's served between 8am & 9am and cooked freshly for you. I've saved the most important part until last, and that is THE STAFF! They are absolutely wonderful. Nothing was too much bother, they were chatty, helpful, genuine, and worked well as a team. Mark (the owner) was always busy looking after guests & the property, and clearly strives for (and achieves) the highest standards in everything he does. The result is this great guest house, which we will happily return to & recommend

We loved our stay here! Mark was so kind and attentive. The food was lovely, the room incredibly clean and tasteful. Mark had recommended we go to Delaney’s (just a 3 min walk down the road) which was delicious. He also encouraged us to take the bus up to Loch Morlich, which I highly recommend! We hope you’ll enjoy staying here as much as we did ☺️

Perfect place to stay in the Cairngorms

Very friendly & helpful hosts. Great breakfast. I loved the smoked salmon. Great location in town. We were able to walk to dinner at different restaurants each night.

B&B style stay

Nice B&B style stay, decently clean with the exception of stains on the rug and sheets. Check in was easy and staff friendly. Breakfast options were included and had nice selection. Staff working breakfast provided barely mediocre and somewhat rude service- seemed annoyed when taking order, food not cooked/delivered as ordered, after finishing food asked if there were to-go cups for my coffee and was advised there was coffee in my room (instant packs and water from the bathroom sink). I then asked if I could just have a bit more in my coffee cup and was told they would have to check to see if there was any coffee made (with many others having just arrived to eat). At that point decided to leave and purchase coffee at a local coffee shop.

A lovely guest house in the Cairngorms

This is a lovely guest house - very well appointed and comfortable. The owner is extremely helpful and the breakfast was excellent. Travelers arriving on the train should note that the guest house is approximately 6/10 of a mile from the train station. It is not a difficult walk but could be trying in bad weather.

Warm welcome from the host Mark who provided us with all the info we needed for our stay. Room was very clean, nicely decorated and had all we needed. Our only issue was that the room was small and there was limited space for our suitcases. Breakfast was spot on! Good quality food served to the table. Good value for money.

We got delayed in getting to Aviemore before the check in time. The owner was very gracious and set up our room and gave us the code to the door. Breakfast was good but it’s not self service for the fruit, yogurt and juices. You’ll need to find a staff person to get it for you. The location was great for walking and lots of food choices nearby.

Absolutely lovely staff so helpful. Huge choice at breakfast served by friendly helpful staff. Food well cooked and presented. Bike repair issue meant we could not leave for home until much later in the day. Offered the use of residents lounge for waiting. Highly recommended.

We were a big party of 10 and we had a great time staying with you guys. We did ask on the second morning if we could all eat breakfast in the conservatory area and were told no we had to sit at our allocated tables, this did seem a bit strange but it did not detract from our enjoyment . Mark is a marvellous host
