Location is absolutely perfect! Tons nearby but house is nice and secluded. Wouldn’t recommend for younger kids the tree house / pool is not toddler friendly. We spent the pool time in the spa. Could have heated the pool for daily fee but didn’t see the benefit because the price was so steep. Cottage house and property are beautiful and well kept. There is no laundry or dishwasher. We came during off peak season and spent less than 48 hours on the property. Overall was just mediocre for the price. High off peak prices plus 125 daily pool heater fee were too much and not enough benefits. Hosts were no where to be seen, strict very thorough guide book and rules. Pool scheduling which you can block your private time but cannot see anyone else’s to know if you can free swim. 10 am checkout for cleaning crew that you have to pay for as an additional fee. Really no time to enjoy much for a weekend stay. You get everything as advertised. Overall it wasn’t for us but there are many great pros to this property.

Great property, exceptional host

We stayed at this property while my daughter was playing at the Round Rock Multiplex. Couldn’t have hoped for better accommodations. Incredibly clean with thoughtful amenities. Between the quality of the neighborhood, the quiet surroundings, and the ever present deer, it exceeded expectations. Only more impressive than the property is the quality and responsiveness of Trisha as host.

Cozy and incredibly relaxing

My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at this clean and cozy cottage. The pool area was a great place to lounge with a book (or work) while our son enjoyed a swim. Trisha was incredibly friendly and helpful. It was an ideal location for a staycation and we look forward to booking again.

Just Perfect!

You get the whole beautiful pool to yourself!!! It was just as you see it in the pictures: clean, 2 electric waterfalls, colorful lights at night, and pool toys for everyone. The ambiance of the Edison patio lights made it picture perfect. Excellent hosts who give you ultimate privacy and are there when you need them. If you are even slightly hesitant about the level of privacy by staying in this guest home, I can reassure you, it is more and what you expect! You'll LOVE it!!! Deer every morning and evening to view on their open field. They come right up to the treehouse by the pool. This home had all that we needed. Unlike a townhome, villa, or condo, this location allowed our kid to go in and out to play without having to worry. Took a walk down the quiet road while our son biked and enjoyed seeing the homes spread out in the open area. As a teacher with specific attention to detail and one who values aesthetics and cleanliness, I give her an A++++!!!!!!

Amazing property and hosts

I can't say enough about our stay at Whitetail Cottage. The location is 5 minutes away from a major shopping center that has everything you might need. The accomodations were amazing. Where do I begin? Open floor layout, very comfortable bed (I think I slept better than at home), excellent AC and heating system, spacious kitchen with all the essential kitchenware. But best of all was the host, Trish. You couldn't ask for a more attentive and responsive host.

The best of both worlds. An Amazing upscale community with 5 acre ranch homes in the county.

Trish was so incredible with Whitetail properties, she replies so promptly. White tail Deer sightings on this property on a regular schedule. Quiet, cozy, country living.

Peaceful cottage with wonderful pool.

My husband I had a very nice relaxing time at this cute cottage with a beautiful swimming pool and a very large yard. The cottage was very spacious and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and the TV had many options for our viewing. The pool was very nice and clean. It wasn't warm, but once you got in it was very nice. We saw plenty of deer and really enjoyed watching them when a sudden rain came down. We did not have much success getting the hot tub warm. We turned on the spa button and it warmed up a little bit. Over all it was a wonderful stay for a great price. I would recommend this property.

Great location for a weeks stay

Super cute countryside with amazing pool

This place was clean, nicely decorated and has an amazing outdoor pool and patio area. My last day, I did yoga on the patio while the deer walked around in the backyard. It was fantastic and we had plenty of privacy! Will stay here again!
