Clean place, good location, but many issues..
We stayed at this clean, well-furnished home in a great location for a family trip to Austin.What we liked:* Walkable to local spots like Tyson’s Tacos and Lazarus Brewing; short drive to HEB/Target; 15–25 min from airport.* Several king beds, plenty of space, and thoughtful extras like a pack-and-play and high chair.* Spacious kitchen, island seating, and a washer plus two dryers made group living easier.* Kelvin was responsive throughout our stay.What we didn’t like:* The night before check-in, we were told the pool/hot tub couldn’t heat due to a storm from a week prior; hot tub was murky, did not filter, and unusable.* Theater room was unusable due to poor Wi-Fi, constant buffering.* Mosquitos made the patio and pool very unpleasant, even in daytime.* Poor insulation—noise from living room traveled upstairs; neighboring unit's outdoor music could be heard inside - making naps and early bedtime challenging.* The biggest issue: excessive and unclear fees. Total cost was high, including high per-person add-on fees, a very high 2pm early check-in fee. Traveling with kids, this felt like price gouging. In the end, in spite of multiple issues with amenities (this listing’s biggest draw), we were only offered a tiny refund for our troubles.Overall:
Great location and layout, but major advertised amenities didn’t work well, and after a high initial sticker price, the constant add-on fees felt excessive and exploitative. Would not stay here again.
