The staff were friendly and helpful. I asked where can I buy a bear spry. The staff told me that they can loan me one. This is really convenience.

I had originally booked one night and then another two nights at this hotel within a two-day period. But I canceled the second booking after seeing the poor condition of the hotel. The building is old, there’s no air conditioning, and it smelled musty. My family didn’t feel comfortable staying there, so I quickly asked the staff to cancel the remaining two nights. The hotel staff was okay with the cancellation, but Orbitz didn’t process it, and I ended up losing the deposit money. Still, there was no way I could stay there for two more nights, so I booked another place instead.

Would not stay ahain.

This hotel was very, very basic. Our room was clean, but had a strange not very pleasent scent. The bed was hard. We were on the first floor and heard every single step the family above us took. My husband banged on the ceiling more than once. The lication was convienant to Denali NP (about 15 mins) and theres a brewery just down the road. I would not stay here again.

Property was clean and spacious and conveniently located near Denali National Park. Breakfast baskets, continental style, were provided each morning of our stay.

Convenient location near Denali park. Decent diner next door is walkable from the parking lot. Parking was free and plenty. Property does not use key cards but actual keys. Room above us was extremely noisy (kids jumping around) in the evening, though maybe they didn’t know how late it was since there’s plenty of light out at 11 pm. Staff was polite and helpful. No clear signage as to where the main office is out of the two buildings (spoiler it’s on your right as you enter the lot). Despite the noise I’d stay there again.

Hotel is a bit older and a little remote from the park entrance but clean and comfortable, good value for the money considering how expensive every where else. Breakfast was prepackaged in your refrigerator the night before and were typical continental food like yogurt, juice, hard boiled eggs and cereal bars.

Solid stay. Biggest shocker we had was no AC. No idea if I knew that 6 months ago when I booked the place or not, but it was a bit of a shock. Did have a fan, but no outlet next to window, so not like you are pulling in cool air. It did cool down after midnight, and we did fall asleep in spite of warmer temp after a while. So not the end of the world and totally fet why they wouldnt have AC. I was looking for a cheaper place close (ish) to Denali, and this fit that bill. Solid stay all in all. Once fell asleep, slept well. It is a bit on the older side, but again I think that helped keep the cost down. Although we didnt use it, there was a nice second story landing/loft to sit and relax and play their games and such. Got in too late to take advantage of it. A really good choice if looking to stay close to Denali with a lower budget.

Lodge is in quiet place, staff are nice. Room itself is very clean, beds were soft and they kept complimentary breakfast as well. Overall we loved staying here, will come again when visiting Denali.

The room was clean with a comfortable bed. Enjoyed having the sink outside of the bathroom so we could brush our teeth while someone was taking a shower. I wish there had been a hiking trail right from the hotel rather than having to drive to one, but that wasn’t a deal breaker. Would definitely stay there again!
