The check-in was awesome. Very energetic individual that late at night. Got into the room and the heater was on. It’s Florida in the middle of August. Four hours later was finally comfortable. Breakfast was terrible no pancake mix. The orange juice had to be orange dyed water.

Everything was very nice except for a smell

The customer service was excellent, the room was immaculately clean by appearance and room service came every day with clean towels and making up the bed. The room looked like it had recently been refurbished so everything was nice. The breakfast buffet was delightful. There was one negative issue, and that was a smell in the room that was hard to describe. It was very strong and I honestly didn’t think I was going to be able to stay. I turned the AC to very cold and that helped a little bit but the smell was there for the full two days. For that reason, I would never stay at this location again.

The room had old carpet that stunk if the AC was above 70 degrees. Who knows what was living in it. Also, of the three ice machines (one per floor) only one really worked. The machine on floor three would give a few cubes and quit, the machine on floor two had been removed. Other than those things, it was a decent hotel. Pull the carpet and just have tiles on the floor.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The ice machines did not work very well. They look old and need to be replaced with larger ones. The bathroom in our room looked like it had been updated and was very nice. The room was obviously old, disgusting carpet with what looked like gum stuck in the carpet and when we first walked in the room smelled awful. Musty and warm, we kept the ac at 68 just to be able to tolerate it. No doubt due to the carpet being so old and dirty and probably the ac vents not clean as well. Furniture had stains on it, it all needs to be remolded and updated. Fortunately, the AC worked well. Beds were comfortable. Our door didn't shut on its own, so if you are staying here make sure when you leave your room to pull your door shut.
