Everything about the property was great with exception of the following: 1. Breakfast should have cooked grits and 2. The evening front desk staff was not attentive at all. I waited an hour for extra towels after requesting them twice. The clerk admitted to forgetting that they were requested. Then when they came he didn't knock on the door, he just put them on the floor outside the room. This is unacceptable and I believe he should be counseled. Thank you for the opportunity to express this.

The staff at this hotel are amazing. They are knowledgeable about the surroundings and very helpful. They greeted us by name and asked if there was any way they could help us. We appreciated all their kindness. The breakfast was wonderful....hot, well supplied, plentiful.

Great Hotel

Our stay was very good. Ms. Sunshine in the breakfast food service area made our day. Her hospitality is contagious. The desk service manager on days is a problem solver. Although the TV went out during the thunder storm, he came up and figured out how to fix it given the maintenance man was off that day. I can't recall his name but he is a teacher as well. The only problem we encountered was that we traveled too far from Michigan to arrive and our room was not ready. We arrived after 3:00 pm and still had to wait for our room. This is not the best first impression for our stay. Otherwise, the stay was very good.
