I would tell anyone that is heading to Stone Mountain to stay away from this place. It is still behind the times bathroom mold, bathroom door rotted from the shower getting it wet. Was told that you can get coffee anytime then when I went to get cofee I was told you cant get it till 6:30 AM. The breakfeast had waffles but no mix to make them. The cream chipped beef was cold. I hate to say I would rate McDonalds breakfeast a 5 star compared to this one. I been to a Motel 6 and had much better service than here. NEVER AGAIN
It would not take much to sweep the outside steps. The non smoking room smelt of smoke! Not the hotels fault, but the attitude of staff when it was mentioned was 'we don't care'. Also we did not get the king size bed as booked. Much confusion by staff when checking in. Otherwise it is a good location and generally ok for a one night stopover. Breakfast was acceptable.
SAVE YOUR MONEY PEOPLE!! This place was beyond disgusting. We didn't even stay the night. Shower had hair clogged in the drain, bed sheets hadn't been changed, room needs dusting badly, and questionable spots on walls and in carpet. NEVER, EVER would I stay in this place
room was clean, not the most updated but cozy. good price on this hotel. Staff was friendly and courteous. Breakfast was good (continental, waffles) and well stocked. Could hear people walking by the room but wasn't too much to keep us up as with other hotels.
We booked last moment for large group and no issue checking after 9pm Hotel staff easily honored requests for room on first floor due to seniors in group Breakfast area is huge with many options conveniently located near to stone mountain and next to shopping area hotel cleaning staff friendly Beds comfortable, rooms/bathroom clean but need little improvement but still comfortable stay
Room was nice - staff did not go out of the way to be friendly - good location - several places to eat near by - minutes from Stone Mountain - second floor was awkward to get to from the side we stayed on.
Very happy with our stay here. No issues or problems. Quiet, comfortable and clean. The location is great staff very nice and helpful. We will be back next year on our usual business trip to the Yellow Daisy Festival.
They staff was very friendly. They even called to make sure our room was ok after we got settled in. Hotel is a little dated but still very nice. We had a huge bathroom and bathtub. Bed was comfortable. We didn't eat their breakfast the next morning but it looked pretty good. I would def stay here again for another overnight stay on a long road trip.
I chose this hotel because of the price, and I guess you get what you pay for. We got there late at night and check in was good since I had called and let them know it would be late when I got in. Room was clean and decorated nicely. Bathroom was spacious and clean. Our room was at the end the building next to the pool but it was quiet. Our first problem were the beds. Felt like sleeping on boards!! I know some people like a firm mattress, so they may like these beds but when I got up I felt like I had been beat with something! There was a coffeemaker in the room which was very nice, but the second morning the housekeeping staff had not left any regular coffee so all we had was decaf which my daughter nor I care for. The worse part was no hot water in the shower! There were plenty of towels, which was nice but we both ended up taking a quick cool shower. The sink next to the bathroom had plenty of hot water, but the shower never did get warm. If you are looking just to stay the night this hotel might do, but if you are in town for any length of time I would recommed staying up the street at the Comfort Inn. A good thing about the hote was the easy access and its location to restaurants and Stone Mountain, It will do for a short trip.
I had just come from Beaufort SC and was at a Sleep Inn where I was treated like I was going to be a criminal. At this Quality Inn I was greeted with a friendly smile and he let me know he needed no thing from me other than a signature. That was nice. The room was OK, ,it is an older hotel, OUTSIDE ROOM ACCESS ONLY. That is important to some people for security reasons. My company will not knowingly put me in a hotel like that. However we didn't know. The bathroom fan sound was LOUD. I mean on the bed you could hear the fan. The room cooled quickly and what I really liked was the blanket on the bed, no comforter, but the white crusty stains on the bed spread- GROSS. Breakfast was good. Egg patties, biscuits, gravy, waffle maker, peanut butter, breads, not great coffee but it got the job done and it was included in the stay. We were on the second floor and I didn't feel like the people below could hear us. As far as value, I am currently sitting in a LaQuinta, my company paid less and it is a whole lot nicer. So as another reviewer stated unless you want to stay a in stone mountain then it is not a great value. BUT also consider, Atlanta has a reputation for traffic...it is TRUE.
