The host was wonderful—very hospitable and responsive. She answered all my questions promptly, allowed me to check in early, and was flexible with a late checkout for an additional fee, which I appreciated‼️
However, there were a few issues that impacted my stay. The noise from the nearby highway/ street was quite loud inside the apartment, which made it hard to relax. The bed was extremely uncomfortable—it felt more like a box spring than a mattress. I could feel the metal coils, and it was difficult to sleep on. The host mentioned it was a thin mattress, not a box spring, but unfortunately, it still wasn’t suitable for a good night’s rest. I ended up sleeping on the loveseat in the living room instead.
The kitchen lacked some essentials—there were only a few utensils, no cutting knives, and no basic cooking staples. There was also no iron or steamer for clothing, which I hadn’t realized wasn’t included until I needed it.
I kindly suggested to the host that a few upgrades could really improve the overall guest experience. With some small changes, this could be a much more comfortable and enjoyable stay.
