Courtyard Atlanta Decatur Downtown/Emory

3.0 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

We stayed here the past two nights while our power has been out (Irma). They allowed us as well as other guests to bring our dogs (not typically permitted). I called around to other area hotels - none were offering the same kindness. That alone makes this place worth the stay but couple that with a great location (walk to all of Decatur restaurants), clean hotel, coffee in house, great staff, etc. and you will won't find a better place to stay in Decatur.

Enjoyed our stay at the Courtyard in Decatur. Near some decent restaurants and situated nicely near the metro

We needed a hotel close to the courthouse but didnt want to stay in a rundown motel. The room was nice and clean, and the beds were comfortable enough. The lobby area is very nice. All in all it was exactly what we were looking for.

Lovely hotel in a lovely area, top notch!!! Only place to stay in Decatur

Great location, clean room and nice staff. No complaints here. Downtown area is nice and close to everythng. Small parking lot. $8 per day for parking. Free wifi :) I will stay here again.

My wife and I stayed at the hotel for our weekend visit with our son and our grand kids. The hotel was only a few blocks from their home so it was very convenient. Very clean well furnished room and friendly staff.

We had never been to Decatur and wanted a nice hotel within walking distance of shopping, restaurants and MARTA. The Courtyard delivered on all accounts. The room was spacious and well appointed. Plus, we enjoyed the modern design of the lobby and 24 hour store. We'll be back!

Very pleasant, room was nice and clean. A bit surprised about a daily parking fee ($8.00 per day) and "incidental fee" of $20.00. I wanted a paper receipt for all charges and was told it would be only online... still waiting for that.

The room had an offensive odor; and when front desk was informed they moved us immediately. After that all was ok.

Booked a smoking room did not have them. Then charged $8.00 a day parking for hotel guest. 1 st and last stay there. Will not use them again, as it saved me no money. Could have got the same deal calling direct.

Staff was warm, helpful, and available at all hours. The fee for parking was a surprise in the suburbs, but not too onerous. Rooms were great.

The location was perfect, we went to nearby Stone Mtn and attended The chomp & Stomp in Cabbage Town. The hotel is in the center of Decatur and was an easy access to all highways etc.

Wonderful hotel right in the middle of town. Did not need a car at all. Very clean and friendly staff. Absolutely will stay here again!!

We flew through Altanta and asked friends about a nice place to stay with interesting pubs and restaurants nearby, and where it was good to walk around. This fit the bill perfectly.

Its a Courtyard. Its a little better than the low cost places and a little more expensive.

Was a very nice place...easy walk to shops dinning...only problem was no phone in room...other than that was her comfortable

We were in Decatur, GA for a family wedding and our stay at the Holiday Inn was pleasant. The hotel was clean and well kept. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

The Hotel was very comfortable and in a good lacation a shuttle buss to the airport would be nice.

While we usually enjoy staying at the HI in Decatur as it has a great location and is really close to the square and the MARTA station, there were too many things going on at this usually easy going hotel. Otherwise the free WIFI was good and the parking for a stay in Atlanta was low when compared to downtown hotels. Easy access to downtown and the World Congress Center, the GA Aquarium, CNN Center, etc.

cool and relaxing, safe environment after a long day
