Do Not Book – Unauthorized Listing, Unsafe, Uncomfortable, and Poorly Managed

I strongly advise against booking this property. From the moment we stepped inside, it was clear this is not a legitimate or properly managed vacation rental. The unit felt like someone’s full-time private residence rather than a space prepared for guests. Closets were filled with personal clothes, drawers were stuffed with private belongings, and bathroom shelves had used toiletries. It was extremely uncomfortable and invasive—like we were staying in someone else’s home without permission.Even more alarming, there were dangerous or inappropriate items left out in the open—things that have no place in a short-term rental, especially if you’re traveling with kids or just value safety and peace of mind. On top of that, the bed was broken, the pillows were lumpy and unsanitary, and the overall cleanliness and condition of the unit were below basic expectations.We also discovered that the host may not have permission from the leasing office to rent out the unit at all. This created constant anxiety throughout our stay, as we worried we could be approached or removed by building management at any moment. It’s incredibly unfair to put paying guests in such a vulnerable and stressful situation.Another unexpected issue was parking—you have to pay for it separately, which was never made clear in the listing. This added expense and inconvenience just made the experience even worse.Overall, this property is not safe, not welcoming, and should not be on VRBO. The host is clearly
