If you’re looking for a pleasant stay - avoid
We should have listened to the first review. Not only did we not end up in the property we booked, we experienced multiple issues that were not fixed by the host despite her telling us she would see to them. Issues included: AC not working at all, dirty apartment - everything we touched made us want to wash our hands immediately, broken blinds, apartment wasn’t equipped for number of guests, the bed for the 5th person was something you would likely find in jail, the water smelled and tasted foul, an associate of the host suggested we “buy hand soap and I will reimburse you”, the apartment complex was falling apart and other people we met staying in apartments also owned by this host were experiencing similar issues. Not once did the host apologise for any of these issues. I would avoid Vrbo at all costs - we requested a partial refund and were denied because the booking had ended. They told me I should have let them know during our stay. When I asked them how they would have resolved our issues, I didn’t get a response
