Nice place to stay

Courteous staff, very clean hotel. The bed was pretty comfortable, the pillows very lumpy. The A/C worked great, but the bathroom door a bit wanky. The location good, great value for the $. I would stay there again, and maybe bring my own pillows! An additional chair might be nice.

This is a beautiful property at a great price! Super clean, quiet and affordable. There is plenty of outside space as well with plenty of tables and chairs. Sit around the fire pit and enjoy the view. Will stay again! Wonderful place!

I stayed here as a part of a solo hiking trip to Hocking Hills, and I could not have been more impressed. The price was exceptional (two nights for less than the price of one elsewhere). And to be clear, this isn't a high-end place with a ton of frills. But there is more than enough to make it a tremendous value. My only interaction with staff was professional and quick. The public areas are well apportioned...reasonably clean with plenty of light. I even went to the patio area my first morning and the views were great. The room was incredibly clean. Spotless. The bathroom and shower were the same. Even the corners and inside the microwave and fridge. I've read some complaints about the bed being uncomfortable. Mine was absolutely fine...a bit on the soft side, but nothing at all uncomfortable. Breakfast was lean...a waffle maker but no other hot items. But what they had (prepackaged muffins, granola bars, cereal) was fine. The coffee was also very good. This is a place which is a hidden gem and, if I'm ever in the area again, whether solo, or with family, I will be staying here. Kudos to the staff and students of Hocking College for running such a good institution.

It was set in beautiful scenery. The room was spotless. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast is continental and limited. But that was fine with us. It's a great base for exploring Hocking Hills

We checked in real late at night extremely tired from 8 hr drive & Staff forgot to give me back my driver license it was slid under our door during the night which put up a red flag for me about keeping it for purposeoffraud!!!! Bed smelled like a sweaty person had slept there. No tables to put suitcases on. No place in bathroom to put your clean clothes on for after taking shower. Other than that we loved the uniquely decorated room we were in and the price was very reasonable!! We would give it another try if we came thru the area again!!
