This 2 bedroom apartment is seconds away from Stroud's Run State Park and Dow Lake and a short 12-minute scenic drive to Athens. The living room is a comfortable space that opens into a fully furnished kitchen that is great for small gatherings and also children. Childproof oven knobs and cabinet locks are available, and a majority of electrical outlets are childproof.
The first bedroom has a king bed, and the second bedroom has a twin-over-full bunk bed that is suited for both children or adults, and includes books and toys for children.

Cozy escape from campus!
My husband and I are OU alumni. We came to Athens to visit my brother-in-law in his senior year. I always loved spending time at Strouds when I was in school and it was so fun to stay at this oasis right off the hiking trails. Wish we would’ve had more time to explore the outdoors, but we were mostly on campus, which was an easy and beautiful drive! We will definitely be back to this home next time we visit. It was clean and had everything we needed for the weekend.

Quaint cabin in the woods
We had a great time at hOUmecoming and this place was perfect. Cute, rustic, secluded and Lyft come there! We nicknamed the very friendly cat, Jerry. Overall great experience.

Quaint private apartment
We enjoyed our private getaway on 14 acres in Athens! Recently renovated with everything needed for a weekend. The owner was conscious of responding immediately if needed. We would definitely stay here in the future!
