Conveniently located between Cedar Creek Reservoir and Lake Athens, there are plenty of activities on the water. Local family attractions include “First Monday Trade Days” in Canton, New York Texas Zip Line Adventures, Rocky Ridge Drive-Thru Safari, Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center, River Run ATV Park, East Texas Arboretum and the historic square in downtown Athens. Two breweries and four wineries offer unique experiences for adult guests.

Host cancelled our stay 3 hours before check in

Disappointed. Drove down from MO and as I’m crossing into Texas get a message over Venmo saying your stays been cancelled and refunded. Host communicated poorly in my opinion. Very disappointed as this place is in a small town and there were zero other options available.

The house and the view were perfect! It is in the perfect location to do the Polar Express in Palestine and enjoy first Monday in Canton.
