SOKI Atami is a beautiful and tranquil retreat. I thoroughly enjoyed the private onsen on my outdoor terrace, with its serene view overlooking the sea. The amenities are first-class, and the service is beyond reproach. As a design professional with a deep appreciation for Japanese aesthetics, I found joy in every detail—from the architecture to the textures and tones. Every element felt intentional and quietly luxurious. My only suggestion would be to offer more variety in the dining options. The dinner menu, while exquisite and beautifully prepared, is a fixed multi-course meal. It’s undeniably delicious but might be too expensive for guests to enjoy every night of their stay. The Japanese-style breakfast is also excellent—nutritious and thoughtfully presented. That said, as a guest from the U.S., I would appreciate the option of a lighter, Western-style breakfast. I understand this may not fully align with the hotel's concept, but I wanted to share this perspective as a matter of comfort and inclusivity. Overall, I would come back in a heartbeat!

きちんとデザインされて今風。エコフレンドリーで、素材感を活かしたシンプルでメリハリのある内外装、地場の食材を前面に出したガストロノミーのレストラン。 3階の端だったので、道路を挟む海側のホテルの最上階が視界に入るのが残念。 事前に判れば、もう少し奮発して良い部屋にしたかもしれない。
