Wonderful boutique hotel with friendly and caring staff, at very reasonable prices. Good restaurant with great breakfast, and a very cool terrace to relax. It is in a modern part of town, but the architecture and decoration have an old-time feeling. We will definitively come back.
The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast (included) was great with lots of options including personalize eggs etc. The rooms were large, comfortable and very clean. The pool was refreshing and the drinks were good. Extreamly happy with this hotel and will stay on next trip
Beautiful building with equally beautiful and gentle staff. Rooms are great! The breakfast is magnificent. Enrique took his time to explAin different types of local breads. The chipa is ....yummy..the recepción is nicely managed. The gym is quite small and it would profit for having newer treadmills but the entire spa area is delicately arranged. Internet and wi fi works. The hotel does not exchange currency but across the street there is a mall where one can find exchange offices.
Friendly staff and clean rooms in the center of Asunción. Overall, I would rate it a good three star hotel or a basic four star one. Breakfast is OK but overall food quality is pretty basic. Good for a short business trip.
This is a truly boutique hotel with personal service, excellent rooms and a staff that makes one feel very much at home. There are many different types of rooms, some even have a living room, others have also a dinning table and a kitchenette. The location is also very good and so is their restaurant.
Regrettably I stayed only one night at this lovely hotel which is a rich mix of the local Guarani culture with European influence. I was upgraded at check-in to room 205 which is a huge four room suite: a complete kitchen, a cathedral ceiling two story living room with leather seating for nine people and a big screen tv, a king size bedroom with french doors to close it off from the living room, a jacuzzi tub, a chaise lounge, two bathroom sinks and a separate room with a toilette and shower. Most of the suite is decorated in white. Both the bedroom and living room have separate air conditioning controls. Every possible accessory you may need is available: sewing kit, shoe shine, dental kit, coasters for your drinks to protect the furniture, slippers, robe, etc. There is amazing attention to detail like the lace doilies under the glasses in the bathroom and the hand crocheted curtains. I ordered a pitcher of the local cocktail, cana sol, and hosted a cocktail party for 7 in my living room. Staff was very gracious and pulled everything together in less than an hour. Laptop computers are available in the hallway of the second floor for guests. Bedding is clean, very comfortable with four pillows to chose from. There is a second tv in the king size bedroom. I would always stay in this hotel anytime I visit Asuncion. I would visit it a lot more frequently if it were located closer to my home! It's a real hidden gem.
The hotel is great, the rooms are nice, the breakfast is yummy. Yes, all that is true, but I arrived at 4 AM and through a mix-up in my office, there was no room reserved at Le Mision till that evening. But the gracious front desk went out of his way to find me a place (8 hotels later...there was a big holiday in Argentina and they had overrun the city it seems), offer me refreshments while he worked and helped me get a cab there. Wow! And when I checked in that evening, the hotel comped me to a nicer room(really just a bit bigger cause I think all the rooms I have seen are really nice) and they had a fruit plate out for me AND they arranged a free ride to the airport the following morning form my flight out. None of this was necessary but it was definitely appreciated. I do have one tiny concern and that is the rooms have a certain odor(not at all unpleasant, quite floral) that is a bit irritating to my lungs.....not sure whether this is a certain cleaning product or what but toning it down that fragrance just a bit would have been great for me......like I said, a very small thing but just enough to be noticeable to me.
This is a unique and welcoming boutique hotel. The staff is warm and professional. The food at the restaurant is great The location is convenient for walking around Villa Mora and other local neighborhoods. I can't recommend it highly enough!
Great hotel in Asuncion. Beautifull rooms, staff helpfull and the bed excelent. Is located in very nice aerea of Asuncion, with a big Mall and several restaurants and pubs. The bar has confortable chairs, the waiters are fast and very polite. I highly recomend this Hotel.
I enjoyed my stay at La Mision very much. I was there on business trip and stayed two weeks. The staff is very pleasant and eager to assist and help starting from the front desk staff to the room maids. Food is so delicious, the chef never failed to surprise us with something new everyday. The restaurant staffs are amazing and service is excellent. Location is another plus you can't beat the two shopping malls across from the hotel and two supper markets. I like the hotel style as well, everything is in the right spot and very elegant. I would definitely recommend it and will stay there again.
