This was our second stay at this hotel in the last couple of years and it was as perfect as our first time around. The staff was always helpful and the daily breakfast was just what we needed it to start our day. The hotel is centrally located and near many amenities. Transportation from and to the airport is provided and very convenient. We solely relied on Wi-Fi to communicate with family back home, so we were very pleased to have good Wi-Fi service everywhere in the hotel, including inside the club 1920 NY DownTown where we had many fun nights!!
Friendly staff that made us feel at home, suits and variety of rooms type to choose from, wonderful breakfast included everyday, prime location in downtown, close to everything ,restaurants, bars, shopping centers and parks. Also transportation available 24/7 from and to the airport is very nice and convenience.Restaurant and bar at the hotel are very popular among tourists and locals, great atmosphere and music, good selection of dishes for all palates...great food, great hotel and very INTERNATIONAL 👏🏻💪🏻🎻🥂🍾could not ask for more ⭐️
Been staying in this hotel a few times over the past 10 years and not much changed, the rooms have an interesting decor though could use an update. One detail I much appreciate though is that they have a lot of mirrors. The location is also very nice, just a few blocks from the center of the city, and I always experienced the area to be calm and secure. The service is good and they have a lobby bar, a restaurant and a snack bar where breakfast is served. The breakfast itself is very decent, having spent a month in Argentina it was really nice to have some fruit and cereals again, was eating till my stomach hurt :) Also Wi-Fi is good throughout the hotel with decent speeds. It is a bit on the expensive side and all facilities does not live up to 4-star standard in my opinion but since it was my girlfriends first time in Asuncion I figured the view was worth it, cause the view is really amazing! (Just be sure to ask for a room on the upper floor)
We stayed here one night. The best thing about the hotel is that it had a room that fit our entire family, four beds that slept the five of us. The lobby was nice and modern, the hotel room was a time capsule from the 70s. Things mostly worked. Knobs come off in your hand, some faucet handles just turn and nothing happens. The carpeting is way past its prime. The staff was helpful and attentive and the breakfast was OK.
The hotel doesn't deserve a 4 star rating, maybe a 2; we stayed 2 seperate night on our way to Cataratas de Iguazu, first night, room was adecuate but bathroom had 1 towel for 2 people, you couldn't put anything on shelves as they fell down, tap swiveled when you tried to open it, aircondition was directed to the door so the room didn't cool down. Dinner was a set meal, not enough to feed a flee. Second night there, no towels in the bathroom and dinner was adecuate, breakfast as we were leaving at 6.45, they where not ready for us turning up at 6am for breakfast. Lifts carried 4 people and the rest bars at the back of the lift moved and fell away if you lent on them. The place was clean and the restaurant had a very nice decor. Staff were helpfull but I wouldn't pay to stay there again. It needs to be completely brought up to date.
This Hotel is expensive for the service that you received... looks old, poor, like 40 years old, bathroom nothing good,It's expensive compared to what they can actually offer. Pesimo no ale la pena gastar por unas malas instalaciones.... I will not recommend to my friends
This hotel is rated as a 4 star hotel but it's very run down! Might have a good "presentation" in the lobby but when you go up to the rooms is not the same. It's expensive compared to what they can actually offer.
If you don't mind staying in a place where the bathroom looks like crap, with the ceiling falling apart, the water barely goes out of the shower, dirty, this is the place for you. this is a one and a half start hotel. The picture showing the room is exactly as you see, what is not that bad, but also not that good but the bahtroom of course they hide the picture, cause it is horrible. Again , if you are staying for a single night just to buy the cheap copied stuff they sell on the street below and save some money, here is the place for you. I will never get back, thanks.
A comfortable and peaceful stay at the Asuncion Internacional Hotel & Suites.Tons of amenities. The room was a comfortable size and equipped with everything you may need. WiFi is fast and dependable. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel is located in the very center of the city, making it very convenient to all. Will definitely recommend to others.
I booked my vacation/business trip on this fairly priced Hotel with little or no expectations and left pretty surprised on the positive side. The Hotel was one of the most friendly staffed I found in the last few years, but very professional at the same time. Great lobby, modern rooms and the whole Hotel seam totally ready for tourism and business with conference rooms, FREE wi-fy (even in the rooms), amazing breakfasts and more... I'd no hesitate on recommending this place to anybody. Particularly to any other American traveler, since a staff explained to me that they are meticulously trained to reach over and "go the extra mile" to exceed any US tourist expectation... I loved that part... And they actually did!!!
