Rixos is located ideally in the heart of Astana close to the famous landmarks, malls and cafes. The hotel has some good dining options and rooms are spacious and the staff courteous and helpful. Overall an excellent choice for Astana.
If you want your Astana visit to become a dream you shoul stay in here. I had my best sleep experience. With its wonderful atmosphere, delicious meals, clean rooms and smiling staff you will not regret.
Very good service, reception, breakfast. I will recommend my collegues. This month and next month ,I will again stay this hotel. Only complaint i s my room is verry cold even I offed the air conditioning.
An amaising hotel, spectacular rooms, great breakfast. You can find a very nice staff, good services, good restaurant! International dishes, drinks...conference center...Very, very expensive...but an oasis!
The wonderful facilities in Astana are matched by the excellent quality of service from the outstanding staff team. Watch out for the excellent reception, good service in the bar, and very pleasant bedrooms. The scent of almonds and the light airy atrium filled with birdsong create an atmosphere of relaxation. Great for business, a haven for travellers even if you are just using the bar, Rixos comes with very high recommendation from me!
Ambience good and service excellent. Prices not on par with quality, though. With these high prices you should expect service and standards that are extraordinary. Room and bath-room nice but do not match the price.
The hotel is located in the city center in an area of diplomatic residences. Convenient place. My room was spacious and comfortable. The room and the hotel were every clean. After making the room, it smells strange. The breakfast buffet is rich and tasty. Free international phone calls were a nice surprise. The hotel staff is trying hard to provide good service, but there is something missing. Arrangements for transportation sometimes did not work properly. In the lifts, there is a misleading ad inviting you to the restaurant in the garden for buffet barbeque but actually, the restaurant works a la cartе. Anyway, the food is good but the message is misleading and drives other expectations. I expected a little bit more from this hotel.
its an excellent hotel but not a 700 usd a night hotel.. overpriced due to Expo .. .could have more variety of Restaurants.....location is excellent and staff has good quality customer services.. just an exageration with price..
My expectations for an hotel with such a grand name may have been set too high. Overall the hotel was acceptable, and the rooms were fairly standard fare for a business hotel. Sheets and bed were slightly damp, linked to an AC system which only had two settings - freezing and off. Despite having 3 thermostats in the room, none were connected to the AC system. Room keys were temperamental and often wouldn't work, entailing another visit to reception, something that seemed to be happening to other guests as well. What disappointed me most, however, was that on check-in I thought that my GHA status entitled me to an upgrade subject to availability. As it happened, I was wrong, but that isn't the issue. The issue was that the receptionist said that the hotel was fully booked and that no rooms were available of a higher category. She wasn't convincing, so I asked again and she confirmed that there were no higher category rooms available. A quick visit to booking.com showed availability in every category and when I asked the hotel, they said there must have been a 'system error'. I don't mind people not offering an upgrade, but I do draw the line when reception staff (seemingly) choose to mislead rather than be honest. Perhaps I am in the minority on this point, but I won't be staying at the Rixos again.
I stayed four nights during a business trip, and had a great experience. The staff was friendly, attentive and helpful. My room was clean and comfortable. Couldn't really be better. I enjoyed the dining options and the breakfast buffet was excellent. b
