Disappointing, would not stay again

The appartment is just outside the Medina and full of local charm. The rooms were clean and the comfort was as to be expected from a basic appartment. However, the stairs are very steep and with no handrails and the description is rather misleading. There is no front desk and it is not in a complex, just a flat on a busy street. The review would be much better with just a little more care. We had to get our guide to phone for towels, toilet paper, etc. There were no curtains, let alone the blackout ones in the description. My mother could not sleep because of the bright street light shining straight into her face. The shower was half hanging off the wall. Just a little money spent on the appartment and it would be an acceptable place to stay at.
