Our first time there….

My daughter and I just needed a place to sleep. It was a first time for us to stay at a hostel. It was so cool. Great building. A very helpful lovely staff. If I needed to come back to Ashland I would definitely consider it again. Even my nine year old said it was cool mom!

Manager LOST my 4 night reservation with Expedia--offered me two nights for price of one a nice gesture, but then, Expedia could NOT help with relocating for same price since I accepted 2 nights-- how was I to know this? So-- I ended up paying almost double the price for two nights at another location-- won't book with Expedia or Ashland Commons again. For the price, the place is comfortable with pleasant staff. It is very clean and sees to cater well for hikers= I felt I was treated unfairly.
