Set in Ashford and only 22 km from Eurotunnel UK, Glebe House offers accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. 30mins from Dover Ferry Port, so ideal for stopover when travelling to/from europe.
The bed and breakfast is fitted with a flat-screen TV. Towels and bed linen are featured in the bed and breakfast.
Breakfast is available every morning, and includes à la carte, continental and Full English/Irish options.
This is a double room with ensuite with a separate entrance on our detached property which is walking distance to Ashford Town (5mins) and station (15mins). Free parking on the drive. The room has a separate entrance, is separate from the main house and has direct access to the garden where there is outdoor seating/dining with good coverage from trees.
We are 20 mins away from Eurotunnel terminal at Folkestone and 30 mins away from Dover Ferry Port. So ideal for staying over to catch a early train or a ferry to Calais, France or to have a overnight break before onward journey if you are travelling from the EU to UK.
Ashford is equally great as a base to explore Kent, famously known as the garden of England! Lots of lovely attractions like Leeds Castle, White Cliffs of Dover, Port Lympne Wildlfe Park, Canterbury Cathedral, Wye downs and beautiful beaches are all only a short dive away.
Christmas is a time we enjoy very much and I will be dressing up the room (apologies for those who don't celebrate), including lots of natural pine cuttings from our garden. I make natural christmas wreaths and table decorations and can make any to order. Please visit Glebe House Flowers on Facebook.
For families with children up to 2 years, we can provide a travel cot at extra cost and being only 20 mins drive away from the Reindeer Centre, it is an ideal place for a weekend getaway during Christmas time. The reindeer centre has over 80 reindeers and has a magical Santa Grotto, an amazing experience which gets sold out quickly, so book well ahead of time.
