Was clean but loud late into the evening. Continental breakfast was not. Was a bottle of water, fruit cup and granola bar.
This place is a dump. I should have ponied up an extra $20 and stayed somewhere safe. Lesson learned.
It was fine - needed a place to sleep - just an overnight stay and driving on.
Inexpensive compared to other hotels in the area. Overpriced by any comparison.
This property is run down. There were clearly people dealing drugs out of a truck/unit and some long term residents grilling out on the parking lot. There was garbage everywhere and if you have a room on the back side it felt very sketchy to get to them because there isn’t parking along the back and the field was overgrown and littery. For me however the worst part was the smoke. Even though we asked for nonsmoking rooms someone had clearly been smoking in them. We later realized that the smell must travel from smoking rooms because it got stronger as the night when on. We ended up leaving at 5am as it just became unbearably strong. Bottom line I didn’t feel healthy or safe at this hotel. If I had been traveling without my husband I would have not stayed at all.
Room wasn’t cleaned well - previous occupants clothing behind door in bath room
For a three night stay, the room was not cleaned at all. On second day, called for at least clean towels. They were eventually brought but one of the towels had a blood stain as if it had been used to wipe up a drop of blood. Was told that the room would be on the list to clean. Next day same thing except was told at front desk do without, she wasn't getting clean towels for us and threatened to call police because I said she would regret not giving me her name. Had stayed here before and did not have such troubles. Pretty sad.
Our stay was perfect for what we needed for an early flight from the Asheville airport. The check-in and check-out staff were both friendly and very helpful.
Manager / owner was mean and rude. We are seniors and when asked for a bottom floor room he said there wasn't any clean because the cleaning lady didn't show up. But there were plenty, we looked. Was put in the farthest room in the middle of the 2nd floor. No elevator the steps were rusted out. You could see the ground. No ice. The front desk was in another building. This was 6 pm

They always accommodate my work schedule and they never bother me when I work 16 hours. I sleep very good there and the staff is very nice .
The room was visibly dirty.There was an empty shampoo bottle along with dirt behind the bathroom door. We went to have breakfast 1/2 hour before breakfast was over & they were out of nearly everything. When other customers complained they were brushed off & were told the staff would not bring out more food because it was a weekday. Thank goodness we were only staying 1 night. We would looked for another place to stay had this been our main vacation lodging.
Good: Staff, Location Bad: At least the bathroom was not clean. It was late when I checked-in and did not realize the poor condition of the bathroom (I left for few hours to have dinner). Otherwise I think I'll stay else where (there was not way that offering me other room will make me stay). - I went to a Walmart nearby and got few things to clean the room (I did it for my kids). I'll omit details about how disgusting it was, just because this is not the right place for this type of comments. - This is probably the worst place that I had ever stay in US. Close to my teens (+15yrs ago), when I used to stay at Hostels in Europe.
