They said the pool lift chair worked

The only reason I book at this hotel was the pool lift chair. I called ahead to confirm the pool lift chair was in working order for my stay 7/3 - 7/5. They told me it was working. When I arrived, there was no battery and maintenance had left for the evening. I asked the desk to call me when the lift chair was in order. At noon the second day I when to the receptionist and they said the battery did not work. I feel mislead and like I overpaid for my stay. I could have paid a lot less to stay at any other hotel without a lift chair.
