Beautiful and private 1 Bdrm guest unit situated on 1 acre amazing garden paradise. 4 miles to downtown Asheville, as well as the Biltmore Estate. 3 miles to trails on Blue Ridge Parkway and just down the street from Whole Foods and lots of local shopping. The property feels like you are in the middle of the country and yet one of the most central locations in Asheville with easy access to everything.
Enjoy your stay at this quiet garden retreat: The main living area has cozy leather couch and large picture window with view of gardens and a dedicated work area with desk and swivel chair. High speed internet available. The high dining table located in the front room could be used as a second work area, if needed.
The kitchen is equipped with apartment size refrigerator, a toaster oven, hot plate, microwave and set of dishware for 4, pots and pans, salt, pepper, olive oil etc for the foodies that love to cook even when they're away from home. Coffee and tea station with a Kerug plus coffee pods and selection of teas available. There is also a French press for those who prefer to brew their own special blend. Also, the house has a whole home water filtration system installed, so all the water from sink and shower is filtered.
The bedroom has a comfortable queen bed with high end Sealy mattress. The bathroom has a large, glassed in shower, plush cotton towels, and large vanity.
The front room includes a day bed that can be a cozy lounging space or extra sleeping for 1 as twin or pulled out into a King Bed for 2. It has dining space for 4 and a full size washer and dryer.
There is no TV on property, as noted in amenities. There is good quality WIFI, for you to use your own devices.
You will have access to the entire guest unit (right side of house - ground floor) 700 sq. ft, including a covered patio overlooking the backyard with a bistro dining table, as well as 2 tandem front parking spaces. The unit is located down a stone path to right of parking area that leads directly to the entrance to unit surrounded by a beautiful rock garden. There is an electronic keypad lock for easy entry.
Other things to note: The left hand unit is a separate apartment that I live in. The units are connected via a shared wall between the front room of guest unit and kitchen of my unit. You might hear some minor sounds from kitchen occasionally during non quiet hours, but it is generally very quiet. Each unit has it’s own private entrance and parking.
Security on our property includes a motion-activated camera for the entry area of house only. This is a completely tobacco free home and property.
The apartment is air-conditioned and features a kitchen and a patio, and there's space to spread out with a separate bedroom. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a coffee maker, and an ironing board.
