Peaceful Cabin

Fun and cozy

We enjoyed our stay, especially using the hot tub to relax each night. The bed was very cozy and the house was super clean. The only issue was the size of bed up in the loft. The bed was a futon mattress on the floor. Thankfully, our girls were small enough to make it work. Two adults would have a hard time sleeping on it comfortably. Overall, we had a great trip.

Review of Evergreen Cabin in Weaverville, NC

Evergreen Cabin is a charming and clean getaway in a beautiful, serene location near Weaverville. The property was well-maintained, and the amenities provided were more than adequate, including thoughtful supplies for our dog, which we appreciated. However, I was disappointed with several significant issues that impacted our stay. Upon arrival on a sub-freezing day, the cabin was only 62°F. It took many hours to heat the space to a comfortable temperature, which was inconvenient after a long trip. Similarly, the hot tub was also cold when we arrived and took overnight to reach a usable temperature, which defeated its purpose as a relaxing amenity for the first night of our stay. Additionally, the appliances in the cabin were very noisy, particularly the refrigerator and HVAC system, which repeatedly interrupted our sleep throughout the night. This was an unexpected frustration, as a peaceful, restful environment is a major reason for choosing a cabin retreat. Another issue was the misleading information regarding the Level 2 EV charger. The charger is not located at the cabin itself, and using it incurs an additional charge, which I found to be quite high. This detail should have been made clear upfront, as it was an unexpected inconvenience. While Evergreen Cabin has potential with its cleanliness and thoughtful touches, the lack of preparation for guest arrival on a cold day, the noisy appliances, and the hidden cost of EV c

very nice and clean cabin

Everything was great and it was an accessible location to the mountains and trails. However, the description mentioned that the grounds were 17 acres. I was picturing a more outdoorsy scene where we could walk the woods and get outside near the cabins. There wasn't really anywhere to go on foot due to the terrian unless you count the gravel roads. I did see a turkey which was cool. But I thought there would be more "view".

Cozy romantic getaway

This was the perfect cozy cabin for a romantic couples getaway! We enjoyed the hot tub after along day of exploring Biltmore. The kitchen had all the small essentials we would need for coffee and basic cooking needs. We would definitely come back!

Cutest little getaway cabin

My husband and I had a wonderful long weekend here. The cabin was so cozy with the gas fire place and was super clean, felt right at home. Great location in Weaverville about 5 mins from town and 20ish mins from Asheville. Would totally stay here again. Thank you!

What a GEM!

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at Laurel Mountain Retreat. Our cabin was exactly how it was shown on the site and even more charming. It was our first time visiting western North Carolina and the Blue Ridge Mountains. LMR was perfectly located near Weaverville and Asheville - two very quaint and lovely towns to explore restaurants and shopping. I think we have fallen in love with this beautiful area and cannot wait to come back!

Fantastic stay

Our Laurel Mountain Retreat cabin was a perfect base for exploring the greater Asheville area. It’s close to everything that makes the region great, yet just far enough out to provide peaceful down time. The cottage itself is very clean and well appointed. The front porch swing and the hot tub are amazing. The fact dogs are allowed permitted us to travel with “the kids” and there are plenty of places to walk them. Book with confidence.

Honeymooners...Look No Further

We married each other on the top of Mt. Mitchell. Needless to say, we are on Cloud 9! The Evergreen studio cabin kept us close, but not underfoot. The hot tub was perfect after our big hike on our big day. Ben and Lisa thought of everything, even a "Congrats" card and rose petals. We saw six turkeys and a heron right outside our front door; no bear, though. The property was clean, classy, and cozy. If you're eloping in February, this is the perfect place!
