Twin room was large, firm bed, good blinds, toilet/sink separate from tub/shower. Disliked Japanese shower wand set up with control for sitting in room and no curtain to use in tub. Lobby meeting area + library with seating and coffee machine. Liked pillow selection to avoid usual buckwheat. Easy access to mall and train station. 10 am checkout with late allowed at 10,000 per hour.
The property is very clean and conveniently-located. The staff are wonderful!
An excellent hotel right above the train station. Easy to find and the rooms were excellent and represented an excellent cost performance ratio. Definitely would return.
Room was very small but the location, parking, and connecting mall are perfect. Complimentary coffee and tea in the lounge, and public bath are perks which we loved a lot! We will definitely stay in JR Inn again next time when we're around the area. Highly recommended!
Just next to JR station! For sightseeing, shopping and eating is very good.
Staffs have no smile face and very cool. The location is good
This hotels staff spoke English perfectly and were able to sort and help with complicated travel plans. The hotel location is perfect, sitting on top of the main JR Station in Asahikawa. I had a car, and had to pay an additional 800 Yen to park it in the lot, but the car was convenient. The Inn also sits on top of a large shopping mall, which is very convenient if you need anything. I actually bought my dinner at the FULL GROCEY STORE in this mall and it was delicious!! A true opportunity to see real living in Japan. The JR Station has a few lovely amenities too including art galleries, souvenir shopping and food. The lobby was lovely to sit in and relax with your computer or a book, and offered premium free teas and coffees. Their was only a shower in my room which was fine, but they had a large bath on the 2nd floor for those who want that Japanese o-furo bathing experience (men and women separate). They also provided drink vending machines and a microwave on the second floor. The room was very pretty and extremely clean.
