In my opinion the hotel is too old definitely needs renovation. I asked for a nonsmoking room, and I did get a nonsmoking room, but the smell of smoke/cigarettes in the corridor is too much. The room is small and very old. Equipment is also old, and the carpet is dirty.
The positive points : In the city center Easily accessible Nice breakfast Cons The team is uncaring specially room service Two nights they forgot to put for me towels in the toilet As a business hotel i would not expect that they charge for normal bottled water
Time spent at the hotel was uneventful as far as exceptionalities: the "wow" or the "oh no." The hotel provided everything needed for a pleasant, productive business stay. My room was clean and quiet. The breakfast options were plenty, but just average. The buffets at lunch and dinner tended to be repetitive; sometimes dinner having he same items as offered at lunch. While the restaurant manager was most accommodating to late arrivals for lunch, those who ate later had less choices as options were not replenished. The meeting rooms were located apart from other areas of the hotel; several were located on the second floor and one had an entry from outside off a front patio area. The meeting room we had was equipped with projection capabilities and the necessary cords. Although scheduled, there seemed to be a disconnect in communication between those at reception and the office arranging the meeting room reservations. Eventually, polite confusion became courteous direction and the meeting participants all found their way to the correct room. The location of the hotel was close to businesses and commerce near the Faisaliah and Kingdom towers.
As a regular visitor to the hotel and region. The hotel quality had been on a steady decline, but the fitness centre was always reasonably good. On my last visit the machine fell apart causing the bar to crash onto the bench. Other equipment in the gym was also broken and electrical equipment was sparking when you tried to use it. Water was brown when you ran a bath. The fittings in the bathroom were falling off the wall. The AC took over a week to fix. Reporting to the hotel staff seemed to cause amusement and when back in the UK. Reporting it to IHG customer services elicited no response and a review about the hotel with photographical evidence to back up was not posted. Still waiting for an apology from the hotel who have not bothered to respond to these issues. It’s obvious customer health and safety is not a priority nor is customer loyalty.
I stayed there for 3 nights , the place a bit old but the stuff prof. The breakfast is really satisfying, the rooms are big and nice , i really like it . And the location in heart of riyadh makes u close for almost anything u want. And around hotel you will find food trucks which another option to get some delicious food.
The hotel is great and the first thing I like about it is it's cleanliness. They clean the room and change towels everyday. Breakfast is served from 6am to 3pm with a wide variety of food selection. There is pool which unfortunately only men can use. The location is very accessible as it is located in between King Fahad Road and Olaya Street. About 8minutes from Kingdom center, 5 minutes from Al Faisaliyah Center and 30 minutes from King Khaled International Airport. There are several restaurants around the hotel area. In regards to price, it is a little bit expensive but you get what you paid for. Wifi is available and there is a coffee shop where you can receive your guests. Charging station is also available at the lobby.
It's a value for money hotel. Room is decent and clean. Staff, especially at reception, was really friendly and helpful. Location was great for me due to proximity to the company office. Buffet dinner is average and also the breakfast. I'm not sure if my room was close to the laundry room or what, there was continuous washer/dryer noise (or similar) early morning. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay.
First of all this is not a 5* hotel for sure even if its says so. The room is on but not as clean as it should be. The food is good. The gym is not. Location is good but limited car parking specially in this area, this is a huge disadvantage. I had to keep looking for someone to help with the bags but no luck. Staff are very good and friendly. Overall ok stay but not as I expected from a holiday inn.
Have been using this hotel since more than 10 years. Good hotel, prices are higher than return value but the location is ok and the area is business/commercial. Rooms are ok: tidy and somehow clean; food is not much but acceptable for a business objective. It is just too far (with traffic) from my clients' HQ.
Very active and nice Hotel , but i believe that they have to check out the rooms condition because my bed mattress was really very bad and i could not sleep well for three nights breakfast is better than expected , location is the best in Riyadh maybe . I will may stay in this hotel again but first i will check the room condition carefully
