We had a great experience in a recently renovated room that was new and clean. Service kept the room that way all week. It was also quiet and not noisy with lots of music which we like.

Staff was pleasant. Lobby and hotel in general could use updating and renovation. Good location on Eagle Beach, close to town and Palm Beach. Cabana resort and hotel in front of Tropicana was very nice. Tropicana is a no frills hotel.

5 mins from the beach, restaurants. 10 minutes walk to supermarket.

2nd time stay at the Tropicana. Good place for the value. Renovations still going on with no end in sight. Hear multiple stories on what the final project will look like. Big plans by very little information on what it will look like. Would love to see an artist rendition of the final. Pizza by Bob is being replaced, again stories of big renovation and additional restaurants. Nothing concrete yet. They push timeshare purchases but very confusing. How do you consider buying a timeshare at a place you don’t know what will be there. Big plans but little information. One big complaint, the free WiFi is terrible. Inconsistent and weak, can purchase a usb upgrade but won’t work on Apple or Kindle. Very bothersome for a place touting a 10 million dollar renovation in progress. Have to wonder if Tropicana will complete project or dump it.

Very good experience. All suites hotel with king size beds and good amenities. Facility is across the street from Eagle Beach which is one of the BEST of 10 beaches in the world. Have stayed here many times and will continue to do so. They also do have a casino!

My friend and I wanted to stay for extra days after using my timeshare at La Cabana. We were able to get a great deal at the Tropicana. We did stay in one of the rooms that has not yet gotta an update, which was not a problem. Rooms are set up well and spacious. I do have 2 Note that our room had very small ants they believe they tried to spray for prior to us getting there. We told the front desk but still within our four days had the ants nothing that was overly concerning. I also assumed that they would do the complimentary coffee in the room since the coffee pot is there but we got no condiments whatsoever I couldn't even get a roll of paper towels from them. Thank God I don't spend much time in the room the rest of the facility is gorgeous and how can you really complain about anything when you're in Aruba. LoL I definitely stay again especially cuz they're putting so much money into redoing the place.

Not to many choices to eat at hotel, price of food high. Had to get up early to get spot on beach. Felt like going to work!!

Everyone here was very friendly Rooms were very nice

It's a excellent hotel with a good service and great placements for go to the beach and another hotels.

In need of major renovation and up date. Rooms look drab and furniture is chipped, sofas dirty and stained. Staff should get customer service retraining. Will never recommend.

Great amenities on site. Pizza Bob's has the best food. Anything on the menu is great. Dunkin Donuts and Baskin Robbins right on site. Happy hour is available at both Pizza Bob's and the swim up bar. Keeps you happy all the time. Choice of fun slide pool with swim up bar or beautiful quiet waterfall pool. Pools are immaculately kept. Newly refurbished rooms are super nice, big and comfortable. Staff is very accommodating and helpful. Short walk to one of the best beaches in the world with any and all water sport options. Also, just across the street from Super Foods store for all your shopping needs. This resort does not disappoint. Great dining options within short walking distance and everything you want for additional optional dining and entertainment is within a 5 minute cab ride. So much fun.

Hotel staff went above and beyond to make sure you was having a great time.

We have been going to Tropicana for few years and have noticed this hotel going downhill but this year will be the last. When I booked I asked for a room overlooking the pool and it was noted but when we arrived we were told that we could not have that room (I booked in March and this is July 19) When we got into our room we noticed that the wall by the table was pealing as someone scraped a chair up and down the wall. I told the front desk the next day and said I don't want to be charged for this. In the morning as I was making coffee I saw ants all over the counter. I again told them and the said they would send someone up. Also housekeeping isn't the best, I had to tell front desk garbage pail under the sink was not cleaned out for two days, Every day I had to tell them about the ants When we left they were still there, The rooms need updating. This at one time was LaCabana Villas and the tubs still have that name on them. Also they are trying to sell you timeshare here. Show you a nice remodeled suite and waste your time as this hotel is not on the beach. You have to walk to the main road and crossover four lanes of traffic. The pools are nice and Pizza Bob's has the best burgers in Aruba. Also there is a Dunkin Doughnut and Basking Robins as you come in or go out and you can sit at the tables in front. As there are many other hotels you can rent, spend a few more dollars and get something a lot better.

Pro : the price for the hotel is perfect. It's affordable for a family weekend. I love that it had two pools available and water slide. Close to the beach and supermarket Con: the hotel is in need of a renovation. The outside of the building is old, it has rotten wood paneling through out the hotel. The inside of the rooms are okay, you get a old motel kind of vibe with old skilet, fridge and couch. They don't offer coffee or salt or paper towels Since the moment we got off the taxi we were asked by 3 people about time share. Then the following day called to make an appointment about a time share. I was even asked by wifi lady what my occupation and my guest occupation and persisted to sell me a time share. Wifi offered for a price, hot spot with 4gb

I was here for Soul Beach Music Festival and checked out of Renaissance Resort and stayed here 1 night due to flight issues...of course there's no comparison...but I could come back to Aruba and very well stay here...it's so easy and quick to get to everything...my room was like a one bedroom apartment overlooking the pool. It's great if you're traveling with children. Jackson, the manager was very cool.

They spun me a line of bs and gave me a dirty outdated room ...the pictures I saw were completely different than the room I was given..when my friend asked the cleaning lady to get a blood stain out of the bathroom she said it wouldn't come off..when I told the front desk lady reshma she didn't care

Average hotel needs updating especially with many other hotels competing. Close to Eagle Beach Nice pools. Most staff helpful and friendly.

Everything was very nice at Tropicana. Staff. Was very pleasant and accommodating. Rooms were updated and comfortable. Would definitely recommend this resort

The hotel was great. I had paid for a 1 bedroom suite and when we checked in they gave me a comp upgrade to a 2 bedroom. The lobby was lovely and there is a tat/pharma/odds and ends store in the lobby and a Baskin Robbins. There is a bar lounge in the courtyard, towel hut, pool, and person size chess and checkers. The people were very nice and you were immediately shuttled to concierge who was there to hawk some extras before giving up the wifi password. The room was very clean and big! All the basics in the kitchen and a cute little balcony that overlooked the courtyard. King sized bed in one room and two twins in the other. Crisp white linens and separate climate control for the two bedrooms. Both rooms had their own bathrooms with jacuzzi tubs. There are only three critiques that I can think of. First, the king bed was very uncomfortable. Inner spring and cheap, but a good long day of snorkeling and you hardly notice. Second, and this I thought was the worst, the wifi was only in the lobby and courtyard. Sitting on the balcony at night, it was usually fine, but there was never a signal in the morning when we were trying to get directions and stuff to head out and never a signal inside the room, even by a window. For the price, there should be wifi in the rooms. Lastly, the hotel did not look on the beach, but was behind another. It was a mere block walk to the beach, which was beautiful and plenty of amenities like chairs, loungers, restaurant, etc. Didn't bother me.

We love it... our room was really a mini apartment, the room was huge and a kitchen/ dinning space with living room... this was for a kings size bedroom... the beach is close by within walking distances... staff and the people are friendly and helpful.. Love it
