My wife and I stayed here for our 30th wedding anniversary. This place was amazing. The stuff was wonderful. The location is beautiful. The food was delicious. I would definitely recommend this hotel and Aruba in general.

The property was very clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. The only thing we were disappointed in was the process they used to get into the restaurants. We did not like the fact that you had to wait in line to get into the steak house. Even waiting in line didn’t guarantee you would get a seat. The last thing I want to do on vacation is wait in line every night for dinner if I want something other than the buffet. We have stayed at other RIU resorts where you can make reservations ahead of time for your trip then no time is wasted.

Booked KING bed on Expedia. When arrived and checked-in, Riu Hotel gave me a 2 TWIN sized bedroom. I requested a change twice to front desk, both times, no action was taken. POOR.

Having to get up at 6am just to reserve a chair and lounge at the beach is absurd. Also, the 4 restaurants are realistically not available for most guests unless you want to wait on a long line at 5:30pm just to hope you can get in is ridiculous.

The property is very clean. I stayed as an elite member and the extra bar and steakhouse were worth the upgrade. The only complaint the music style by the pool did not seem to match the vibe of the property. The pictures online well represent the property.

The room was nice and clean with ok view. The rest not so much. The room t’stat is limited temperature, cockroaches in the hallway and elevator lobby, low food quality so have a strong stomach and the restaurants were no better, drinks are small and 2 drink limit at the bar, room keys don’t always work and have to be replaced often even more than once a day, and make sure your reservation is accurate because they don’t care and will overcharge you to gain access to the facility. I will never stay here and possibly never in a RIU again. I travel often and this is at the bottom of my all inclusive experience.

Room was clean. Staff was courteous. Room service needs more staff. Called to get food and it took 15 tries to get an answer. Lady said she was the only one prepping food and answering phone. Buffet food was blah and other restaurants was hard to get in because they were booked with “elite member” reservations.
