The room was very clean and the staffs were amazing. The food was great plenty of options and they are right on the beach.

Great stay! Staff were incredible and went above and beyond! We lost some of our travel documentation in a transportation vehicle on the way in and they were able to track it down for us. We love this island! The RIU staff make sure your glass is full at all times. The food was varied and always available. We will be back!

Our room was kept very clean, everday. The room was nicely decorated. The pool area was very nice, with various activities everyday. Staff was very accommodating, polite, and nice. The food was delicious. The buffet had a variety of things for breakfast/dinner. The steak house had the most tender steaks we've ever had. There was a casino and a club, for those that enjoy that. Thank you Mr. Alejandro, Ms. Emma, and Mr. Yuly you are thee best! We can't wait to go back.

We were there on our honeymoon and it was a fun part of the stay. We really loved the food/drink staff and the nighttime show. But wish that the day time activity staff had more big organized water aerobics type activity’s. It said daily but was only done 2 times in the 5 we were there. Also, the guests that stay here are all very loud and chaotic, having fights over chairs and loungers, screaming until 3am by the casino. So we did say trips to leave the hotel in between meals to get a break from them. Handnt noticed it at other hotels, just the Riu clientele. No fault to the staff but we weren’t a fan of the crowd.

There’s a fine line between providing quality goods and services and trimming costs. RIU has moved too far over to the cutting expenses side. The ala carte restaurants have quotas so we couldn’t eat at one after 7:30 pm even though they say that are open until 9 pm. No more blender drinks at the pool bar, it’s all syrups that don’t taste anything like the real thing. And they are smaller cups. Entertainment is not up to par. Very disappointed. They are too focused on cost cutting and losing their ideals…making great experences happen. Not happening anymore.

Our room was so so clean . There was hair on a floor for 2 days before they were pick up . The steakhouse restaurant and Crystal restaurant we tried to get in for a few days and we couldn’t.. they told us that would take reservation but once we go there by 7 o’clock, they don’t take any people inside. I think it’s ridiculous.
